This release is all about farm life! Today, we are showcasing the Denim Pocket Die and Pocket Full Of Sunshine Stamp Set + Outline Dies.

I knew when I saw this die that I wanted to create a shirt card. I had some old western style papers in my stash and used the Denim Pocket Die with the Rectangle Dies 1 to create the shirt. The buttons are also from the new die set.

 

This set is so versatile also. It would be so much fun to create Christmas shirts to give your gift card/cash present (I have examples coming). If you are a teacher you could make these for your students and fill them with small crayons or pencils. The possibilities are endless!

Today, I'm showcasing the new Gnome Gift Card Slider: Letter Add On, Valentine Gnome Faces Stamp Set, Sealed With A Kiss Stamp Set, and Cow Print Stencil. To create the Gift Card Slider, you do need to purchase the original Gnome Gift Card Slider Die. I created a mini envelope to go on top of the slider base along with a mini postcard to fit inside the envelope. The little cow on the postcard is from an older stamp set called Out On The Farm.

I have lots of friends who love cows so that Cow Print Stencil is going to get a lot of use. It's so much fun! 

I created the girl gnome face using the Gnome Dies: Girl Gnome Face Add Ons. Her cute, kissy face was made using the new Valentine Gnome Faces Stamp Set.

Jaded Blossom October 2024 Release: SNEAK PEEK DAY 1

Happy Monday Friends! Today, we are on Day 1 of Sneak Peeks for the Jaded Blossom October 2024 Release. You can grab the "Gotta Have It Now Package" for a discounted amount. If you wait until the release goes live, the bundle price will go up.

This month's new release is all about my favorite holiday...CHRISTMAS! And what's a popular gift for the holiday season? GIFT CARDS! They are practical and easy to carry especially when you are shopping for a large family. I tweaked the Gnome Gift Card Slider Die and Gnome Gift Card Slider: Chimney Add On to create a little house with a smaller chimney for the Santa Gnome! 

I altered the gift card holder by cutting the gnome off so I could place it behind the smaller chimney. I cut a square panel using the Card Mat Dies, and layered on 3 rows of bricks. I left the bricks off the bottom of the square so I could line it up against the back edge of the gift card panel. I glued the chimney in place, and then glued the Santa gnome behind the chimney. The gnome's mustache and smaller nose are from Gnome Dies: Gnome Face Add Ons 1.

To create the brick house holder, I used the Gnome Gift Card Slider: Chimney Add On. I trimmed the top corners to make it look more like a roof, and added white Liquid Applique to create puffy snow. I then cut an icicle border using Winter Banner Dies 2 and glued it behind the roof before adhering it with foam tape to the top of the brick layer. The door is from the Chimney Add On, and the little windows were created using Square Internal Scallops Dies 1.

The last step was adding sentiments from the new Gnome Peeking Stamp Set behind the gift card and also on the back.

Jaded Blossom: STOCKING GIFT CARD HOLDER

 Happy Friday everyone! I'm back today with my latest project for Jaded Blossom. I'm switching gears and starting on gift card holders for Christmas. I used to spend days/weeks hunting down the perfect gift for family and friends. It was a lot of stress. Now, I just buy a bunch of gift cards so my recipient can buy what he or she wants. For me it's easier since December is such a busy month with birthdays and Christmas. I have my birthday in December, along with hubby, his 2 brothers, and several friends. I told you....it's CRAZY! 

I used the Stocking Gift Card Die to create the base shape. I LOVE that this die set come with 3 different stocking toppers, along with the toe and heel dies so you can cut different colored paper for those pieces! I plan on creating these in all different colors for Christmas.

I found some little white pom poms and added those to create some dimension. Then I tied some ribbon around the top. I think for Christmas, I'm going to use alphabet dies and add the recipient's name to the top of the stocking instead of tying ribbon. On the back of the stocking, there is a slot to add your gift card. I decorated the gift card panel using stamps from Gnome For Christmas. I used gel pens from Diamond Press to color in the gnome on the red cardstock.

To create the tag, I used the Treat Tag Die. The small gnome is from the Gnome For Christmas Stamp Set. The Merry Christmas sentiment is from Gingerbread Calories Stamp Set.
