C.C. Designs: CUTIE YETI

The NOVEMBER RELEASE from C.C. Designs was another fantastic show of goodness! I loved everything that was released last week. Be sure to head over to the C.C. Designs Store to pick up your favorites today. My card features two characters from the CUTIE YETI Clear Stamp Set. I just love them! I used the C.C. Designs Black Olive Ink Pad to stamp them onto Xpress It Blending Card. The images were colored with Copic Markers and then cut out using the Cutie Yeti Outline Metal Dies.

Copics:
Girl Skin: E00, E01, E11, E13
Boy Skin: E11, E13, E15, E18
Pink: R81, R83, R85, R37
Blue: B63, B66
Snowman: BV20, C0, Colorless Blender

The cute Snow Globe Die is from Sugar Pea Designs. The sentiment is from the C.C. Designs Tiny Winter Clear Stamp Set. I felt it matched this scene perfectly. The paper is from C.C. Designs I {heart} Snow paper pad. I love the colors and patterns in this paper pad!

Don't forget, we have a monthly challenge in our Facebook Group where one winner will receive a Gift Certificate to the C.C. Designs Store and the 2nd person will receive a FREE digi! You have until November 28th to play along...click HERE to upload your card!

Just type in MOMS at checkout to receive 20% off your entire purchase!! Hurry and grab your faves because this sale ends tonight!

My card features a stamp from SugarPea Designs called What's Poppin? This set is one of my faves! I hope they come out with a boy version because my son LOVES popcorn. He eats it every single day...sometimes twice a day. I colored this cutie with Copic Markers.

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11, E13
Hair: E71, E77, E79

Shoes: C3, C5, C7, C9

I used the LDRS Creative Allifair Build A Card Die Set to cut out the shape of my card. I love this die set! It's so versatile and classy. See those popcorn tubs on the side of my image? I made those using the cloud die from the Allifair Build A Card Die Set and the coffee cup die from the SugarPea Designs Coffee To Go Cup Die Set. I inked the edges of the popcorn with Tim Holtz Fossilized Amber Distressed Oxide Ink. The blue polkadot paper behind my image was cut out using Avery Elle Wonky Stitches Die.

Don't forget about our current ANYTHNG GOES Challenge on the 7 Kids Challenge Blog. You can use any stamp in your stash!! Just click on the link on the Challenge Blog (right side bar) to upload your card for a chance at winning a $20 gift certificate to the store!

Submissions are due by January 31st at midnight EST.

Today, I'm showcasing the very first stamp I purchased called GNOME SWEET GNOME. I love gnomes, and look at him....cutest thing ever! I knew this set had to be part of my collection. The gnome and tree house scene were colored with Copic Markers.

GNOME:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E02, E04
Hair: N2
Red: R24, R27, R29, R39
Brown: E42, E43, E44
Shoes: C5, C7, C9
Shirt/Grass: YG23, YG25, YG67, G28
Duck: Y02, YR21, YR23, R02, YR18

TREE HOUSE:
Brown: E42, E43, E44, E47
Black: C1, C5, C7, C9
Yellow: Y02, YR21, YR23
Green: YG25, YG67, YG28, YG97
Flowers: R83, R85, R39
Snail: R02, R20, BV20, BV23, BV29

I used the scalloped frame in the Birthday Journal Card SugarCut to cut out the green cardstock framing my image. Then I used the stitched rectangle from the same die set to cut out the tree paper. For added dimension, I cut the gnome out and placed him on top of the card with foam mounting squares. The final touch was adding some enamel dots in the corners.

SugarPea Designs Guest Designer: FAIRY SWEET

Happy Monday everyone! For the month of January I'm guesting for another favorite company I love called SugarPea Designs! Their stamps and dies are so much fun!! Do you want a chance to be one of their Guest Designers? Then head over HERE and check out how to enter their Guest DT Call!!

Today, I'm showcasing this adorable set called Fairy Sweet. I love making girlie cards probably because I have a son, haha! Pink and sparkle just call to me. I colored this sweet girl with Copic Markers and then added Wink of Stella Glitter Marker all over her outfit.

Copics:
Skin: E000, E50, E51, E21, E11, E04
Hair: E71, E77, E79
Pink: RV02, RV04, RV06, RV09
Wings: BG10, BG72
White: N0, N2, Colorless Blender
Yellow: Y02, YR21, YR23
Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Marker

The outer edge of the image got a sprinkle of Shabby Pink Frantage. My tip of the day….use a toaster to heat emboss the Frantage Embossing Enamel. It keeps the stuff from flying everywhere. And once you sprinkle it on, you can move it off her hair and face if you see anything loose on there before holding over the toaster. I used the scalloped frame in the Birthday Journal Card SugarCut to cut out the pink paper framing my image.

Thanks for joining me for the month of January as I guested for SugarPea Designs! I had an amazing time coloring their fabulous stamps!! Thank you Wendy and Stephanie for this awesome opportunity!!

Now be sure to head over to the SugarPea Designs Store to check out all of the awesome stamps and dies that need to be a part of your collection. If you are looking for amazing inspiration, be sure to check out the SugarPea Designs Blog

I'll be back on the 30th with one last project!

Rosie

Happy Monday everyone! For the month of January I'm guesting for another favorite company I love called SugarPea Designs! Their stamps and dies are so much fun!! Do you want a chance to be one of their Guest Designers? Then head over HERE and check out how to enter their Guest DT Call!!

My card today features this adorable girl from the Take Note Set. I absolutely LOVE her! I stamped her on X-Press It Blending Card, fussy cut her out, and colored her with Copic Markers. For added dimension, I placed her on pop-dots.

Copics:
Skin: E000, E50, E51, E21, E11 E04
Hair: E71, E77, E79
White: N0, N2, Colorless Blender
Teal: BG10, BG72, BG75, BG78
Red: R24, R27, R39
Yellow: Y04, Y21, YR23

One of my favorite dies is the Birthday Journal Card SugarCut because it's so versatile. I used the stitched rectangle for the teal paper behind my image. Then I used the scalloped rectangle to cut the grass out. The circle tag with the flower in the middle was also made using elements from the Birthday Journal Card SugarCut (balloon and flower). The awesome sentiments are from the same Take Note Set. My papers are from Echo Park I Love My Family and my ribbon is from Walmart.
Now be sure to head over to the SugarPea Designs Store to check out all of the awesome stamps and dies that need to be a part of your collection. If you are looking for amazing inspiration, be sure to check out the SugarPea Designs Blog. The DT is super talented!

The plaid rectangle behind my image was cut out using SugarCut Birthday Journal Card. I added the SugarCut Party Banner Duo to the top of my card to finish it off. The green pearls were from my stash.
