Jaded Blossom: I MISS YOUR CUTE BUTT

Happy Friday everyone! I just realized Easter is this Sunday which inspired me to pull out the Sweet Bunnies Stamp Set with Outline Dies. Originally I was going to use one of the bunnies in the stamp set for my card, but when I saw the "I Miss Your Cute Butt" sentiment, I knew I had to create a bunny booty using dies, LOL!  

For the bunny body, I cut a circle using the Stitched Circle Dies, and added the bunny feet from Gnome Friends: Bunny Dies. I glued a white/pink sparkle pom pom on for the tail. Then I added the bunny butt to an action wobble so it shakes! How fun is that?!!

The green paper was cut out using the Scallop Circle Dies. I used the Stitched Flower Card Mat Die on the striped patterned paper. The circle panel and the sentiment from Sweet Bunnies is raised on foam tape for extra dimension.

Jaded Blossom: HAPPY EASTER!

Happy Friday everyone! I've been doing a Penguin for all the Seasons/Holidays series using dies from Jaded Blossom because I love penguins as much as I love gnomes. It's so much fun adding these cute penguins to different scenes. Since Easter is this Sunday, I created an Easter card!

To make the adorable penguin, I used Gnome Friends: Penguin Die and Penguin Faces Stamp Set. The bunny ears headband was created using Gnome Dies: Bride and Groom (headband), and Gnome Dies: Easter Add Ons (ears). The egg is also from Gnome Dies: Easter Add Ons. To create the Easter basket, I used Octagon Treat Box Dies and Octagon Dies: Easter Add Ons. The chocolate bunny is from Octagon Dies: Easter Add Ons. To create the grassy slope, I used Mushroom Dies. The sentiment is from Carrots For Sale Stamp Set.

I Am Roses + Conie Fong's Bunny With Egg

Happy Monday friends! I'm back today for I Am Roses with a cute Easter card featuring Conie Fong's Bunny With Egg. Isn't he adorable? Hippity Hoppity, Easter is on its way, so it's time to grab all the bunny images and get busy! I printed this image on Copic Xpress It Blending Card and colored it with Copic Markers. The background sky was done with Broken China DO Ink and a stencil.

The cute background paper is from Doodlebug Design. To finish off the card, I added R43 Half White Half Soft Pink Peonies, S3 Yellow Cherry Blossoms, S11/L Soft Pink Summer Cottage, S10m Small Achillea Cottage White, and Tiny Green Leaves.

I Am Roses + Conie Fong's Easter Bunny Eggs

Happy Friday friends! I'm back today for I Am Roses with a cute Easter card featuring Conie Fong's Easter Bunny Eggs. Isn't he the cutest?!! I love that he's popping out out of the egg. I printed this image on Copic Xpress It Blending Card and colored it with Copic Markers. 

The bunny paper is from Doodlebug Design. I used the Square Internal Scallops Dies 1 from Jaded Blossom to create the frame around the image. To finish off the card, I added R43 Pale Pink with Pink Center Peonies, White Cherry Blossoms, S10 Pink Flowers, and Tiny Green Leaves.

Jaded Blossom + I Am Roses: HAPPY EASTER WALL HANGING

Happy Friday everyone! I'm back today with my latest project for Jaded Blossom with gorgeous paper flowers from I Am Roses! I have a bunch of these black/white fabric chalkboard frames from the Dollar Tree. They also just put out their Easter stuff and I bought several Wood Bead Garlands which I cut apart to separate the beads. I combined them to create this cute Easter Wall Hanging. 

I wanted to create a scene on the chalkboard area that matched the shape so I pulled out my heat gun and a butter knife and went to work separating the chalkboard area from the fabric frame. That was a process let me tell ya! I traced the shape onto white cardstock so I could create the cloud background. Then I used the grass die in the Mushroom Die Set and cut two grassy knolls. The Easter Eggs are from the Wheelbarrow Dies: Easter Add Ons. Those adorable bunnies are from the Chubby Bunny Die Set. I wanted little heart noses for the bunnies so I used the small heart dies in the Build A Booth: Valentine Add Ons. The sentiment is from the Carrots For Sale Stamp Set.

After I created the scene on the white cardstock, I glued it to the black chalkboard area. Then I added flowers from I Am Roses. The large flower is the R43 unicorn peony, followed by S3-15 white cherry blossoms, S10 small yellow flowers, R2 mini soft pink roses, and tiny green leaves. The frame came with a twine hanger which I took out of the holes to add on the beads.

Jaded Blossom: HAPPY EASTER GNOMIE BAG TOPPER

 Happy Good Friday everyone! I'm back today with my latest project for Jaded Blossom. With Easter Sunday quickly approaching, I decided to put together an Easter goodie bag. These would make adorable party favors for your upcoming get-together! My mother-in-law gave me the cute twine carrot decorations, and I found the carrot chocolates and bunny marshmallows at the Dollar Tree.

 

Jaded Blossom recently re-stocked the 5x5 inch Clear Bags! These are the perfect fit for the XL Topper Die. I went old school and pulled out the adorable bunny gnome from the Happy Easter Gnomie Stamp Set. I know the gnome dies are popular right now, but I also LOVE the gnome stamps! I altered this gnome a bit, by coloring the large carrot stamp and placing it over his arm. Then I stamped the hand from the other gnome, fussy cut it out and placed it on the large carrot. Now this bunny gnome with the whiskers is also holding a carrot.

 

The sign is from the Cottontail Farms 3x4 Freebie Stamp (released a while back). I stamped extra carrots to add to the dirt. The sentiment on the dirt is from the Easter Tweetings Stamp Set. Did you see that the current monthly challenge is POLKA DOTS? I added white polka dots to the Gnome's hat. The dirt is also made up of polka dots using various brown Copic markers.

Today, I created an interactive card using the Hopping Hares Stamp Set with the Double Dial Die. These bunnies are adorable, and the interactive component makes this card magical and whimsical! When you turn the dial in the bottom left corner, the bunny from the left jumps towards the bunny on the ground.

 

I think it's hilarious, haha! I used digital landscape paper for the background. I cut another piece of the double dial frame from white cardstock and added dots with brown markers to create dirt. Then I used some deckle edge scissors to trim it down. I cut some slits into the "dirt" so I could slide some of the carrots into it so it looked like they were coming out of the ground. I then glued the dirt panel to the bottom of the landscape frame. The sentiment is from the Hopping Friends Sentiment Stamp Set.

Jaded Blossom: Thank You Chickie Bag Topper

Happy Friday everyone! I'm back today with my latest project for Jaded Blossom. My mother-in-law found these chocolate peeps and brought me one so I decided to create a bag topper for it. These would make adorable party favors for your up-coming Easter get-together or even for those class parties!

The Ric Rac Topper Die is perfect for these little chocolate peep treats. I cut the inside mat from white and green cardstock. I used ink to create clouds on the white mat. Then I tore the green panel to make some grass for the bottom of the mat. The three small chicks are from Easter Candies (revamped). Aren't they adorable?!! 

I fussy cut the chicks and added them to the topper using foam tape for some dimension. The sentiment is from Easter Tweetings. I colored the chicks using Copic Markers.

Jaded Blossom March 2023 New Release BLOG HOP!

 Happy Thursday everyone! Welcome to Jaded Blossom's March 2023 New Release Blog Hop! Now, if you're here from Jamie's Blog, you're in the right place. If you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing. I also have the complete line up at the bottom.

  For my project, I used the Scallop Caddy Die to create a tag card. It can be tied to the carrot candy tube, but then displayed as a card once taken off.  

 
The carrot background was created using the Carrot Stencil. I cut a separate Scallop Caddy panel from green cardstock and tore it about an inch from the bottom to create the grassy area. The two carrots in the ground were created using the Build A Booth: Easter Add Ons. Of course, I had to squeeze a gnome on it, haha! I used the carrot hat from the Gnome Dies: Easter Add Ons 2, but cut it shorter. The sentiment is from the Easter Tweeting Stamp Set.

I wanted to make it look like the gnome was peeking out from the corner so I put him on the tag card at an angle and trimmed off the edges.
