I Am Roses + Conie Fong Dinosaur

Happy Friday friends! I'm back today for I Am Roses with an adorable Dinosaur card. You can learn how to draw this dinosaur from the Draw With Conie YouTube Channel. Conie walks you step-by-step on how to draw simple images. If you have ever been interested in drawing or need an activity to keep the kids entertained, then head over and Subscribe! 

I had some cute dino paper in my stash and decided to go with pink and purple for my dino. The gold and pink chipboard hearts are from Kingston Crafts. The sentiments are by Jaded Blossom To finish off the card, I added R43 Pale Pink with Pink Center Peonies, Purple Cherry Blossoms, S10 Pink Flowers, and Tiny Green Leaves.

Jaded Blossom: Friend-a-saurus Coffee Slider

 Happy Friday everyone! Before I get to my project, I wanted to remind you that we have our "ANYTHING GOES" Challenge going on until July 30th at Jaded Blossom! For my project today, I used one of my favorite dies called the Coffee Slider Die. It creates the cutest gift card holder! Since I'm still on a dinosaur high from the June Release, I decided to make this holder with a dino theme. I used the Mini Dino Stencil and Distress Oxide Inks to create the pattern on the main coffee holder shape. On the kraft koozie and lid top, I used a stencil that might seem out of place....can you tell which stencil it is? It's the Knit Stitch Stencil! When I looked at it, it kind of looked like dino foot prints and also leaves so I used it to create the backdrop to my dinos. The dinosaurs are from the Prehistoric Age Stamp Set.

On the inside gift card holder part, I used patterned paper for the main area, and the Knit Stitch Stencil on kraft paper for the lid. The faux washi tape was created using one of the stamps from Dinosaur Candies. That awesome sentiment is from the Friend-a-Saurus Stamp Set. I just trimmed it down.

Jaded Blossom: YOU'RE RAWR-ABLE!

 Who says dinosaurs have to be green or gray? I decided to go with a pink and purple theme this time around for a card featuring products from Jaded Blossom! The dinosaur is from the Prehistoric Age Stamp Set. I created the patterned paper at the top of the card using Dinosaur Candies Stamps and Scallop Rectangle Dies 1.

I rubbed Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide inks on Bristol Paper and then splattered water over the top. I stamped the dinosaur on the inked paper and fussy cut it out. Then I used various stamps from the Dinosaur Candies Stamps and stamped on the rest of the inked paper to create my own matching decorative paper.

Jaded Blossom June Release BLOG HOP!

 Happy Friday everyone! Welcome to Jaded Blossom's JUNE Stamp Release Blog Hop.  

Now if you're here from Jamie's Blog, you're in the right place. If you're just passing through start at the beginning because you don't want to miss a thing. I also have the complete line up at the bottom.  For today's project, I used the Handled Gift Box Die to create cute packaging for these awesome dino erasers I found at Target around Valentine's Day. I love the little dino stamps that are included in some of the sets so I used them to create the scene on the side panel of the box. And of course I had to ink up the Mini Dino Stencil to create the pattern. 

  To raised the pterodactyl in the air, I glued them to a strip of acetate and then glued the acetate to the back of the scene panel. I finished off the project by gluing the sentiment to a little clothespin to close the top of the box. Here's what it looks like on the inside.

Today, we are revealing a new stamp set called LAVA YOU, along with the FREEBIE Stamp Set called EXTINCT TAG. For my project today, I used the Wine Tag Die with the stamps from Lava You to create this bottle tag for a Strawberry Cocktail Mix I found on Amazon.

I used a cloud stencil to create the ashy sky and then layered on the volcano and palm trees with foam tape. To get the lava splatters to stand on their own I glued it to a piece of acetate which I then taped to the back of the volcano.

 I found some awesome dinosaur gummies on Amazon so I decided to use the Crate Die to create a holder for them. When you cut the crate die it creates slats on the front and back. I kept the cut-out pieces and placed them back into the holes so I would have a solid piece to stencil the Dinosaur Fossils onto.

 To create the tag, I used the Treat Tag Die and the Friend-A-Saurus Stamps.

 For my project today, I created Lollipop holders using the new MINI DINO STENCIL and PREHISTORIC AGE STAMPS. I love turning the lollipop holder upside down so the lollipops stand up on their own once you put it together. 

 I used Distress Oxide Inks over the stencil to create the pattern. The dinos are colored with Copic Markers. I found the adorable dino lollipops on Amazon! It's amazing all the things you can find there, LOL!

I'm telling you, if my kiddo was little we would be having a dino birthday party this year, haha! He'll be turning 15 years old in a few days, but I'm pretty sure dinos are not at the top of his list anymore.
