Cold War gone Hot - New terrain bits

I have a bit of a painting plan for the winter to work through the "to list". I am working up in scale overall starting with the smaller stuff first mostly. 

I was given some 6mm terrain items in late 2018 to add to the WWW3 collection , so I have finally got these knocked out.

Each tile is a5 sized or 8 x 6 . One is made up of bombed out residential buildings the other is a bit of an industrial space.

The workshop building had 84 windows altogether, each with 8 panes to highlight  - that was fun! 

For now that sees off the outstanding 6mm items in the the "plan" 

and its good to be back productive again. 

Cold War Gone Hot - Soviet Helicopters and Infantry

Previous to  the recent game I had completed a few new units to add to my Soviet forces. Hind helicopters and infantry units.

I drilled and inserted a small magnet into the helicopter to attach them to some flight stand pegs - to which I had also added a magnet. The individual pegs are around 10mm and can be easily added to vary the height as required. They are the type used in Wings of Glory - i bought a bag of 100 from e-bay.

I have done two lots of basing with multiple and individual stands

I completed enough Infantry for a motor rifle unit - with infantry, heavy weapons, ATGW etc.

Both lots were by Heroics and Ros - I need to do another lot of infantry some time i think.

Quantity Has a Quality All Its Own - 6's!!! lots of them

My good friend Scotty is in the process of having a turn out of his man cave - and came across some 6mm Adler lads I painted for him far too long ago. So I thought I would tempt Ian (Blog with no name) and Lee( who's blog link eludes me!)

I really don't think the eyes are up to these anymore - pity because you can certainly knock a lot out in short timeframe

Meanwhile I am starting on my own new "man cave" - gaming and painting room!! Huzzah!
