All In the Family

We finished out our Utah trip Thursday and headed down to Taylor, AZ with my parents to meet up with Derek and the rest of the Stock family for Pioneer Days. We had a lot of fun hanging out with everyone and visiting with the family that lives there.

To Nanny's House We Go!

For Independence Day, we attended the parade and fireworks in Richfield. Bostyn loved gathering all the candy and waving back to all the people who were waving in the parade. Cannon, on the other hand, was in complete hysteria every time a loud horn or siren went off. We decided to leave him home with Nanny and Papa while we went to the fireworks show. We had high hopes for Bostyn enjoying the fireworks. Five minutes or so after the show started, she climbed onto my lap, looked me right in the eyes and with urgency in her voice said, "go bye bye in the car!" She loved the lights but did not understand the big booms. Her and Derek enjoyed the light show from the car while Marlee and I stayed at the park.

(This was at a cousin's birthday party 2 hours from my parent's house. I left the diaper bag with all the essentials in the garage when we left. We borrowed this swimsuit when we got there. It is a 12 month suit...Bostyn is nearly 2...hence the wrestling singlet look.)
