Welcome to the Wild West!

This past weekend, Derek had to go to Tucson for work so we made a mini vacation out of it. We were able to visit his Aunt Tammy and Uncle Boyd in Benson and tour Tombstone. We had So much fun and it was nice to be able to get away for a bit!

The Holidays, in a Blog-shell

We had a great Christmas! My side of the family was able to spend the holiday together here in AZ for the first time since my parents moved. It was nice to relax and spend time with them here.

The family came to my house Christmas Eve for a yummy prime rib dinner and gift exchange.

Santa came to check in on us Christmas Eve. He gave everyone a ride on his sleigh and the kids sang Christmas songs.

They must have been good this year!

Cannon was more excited than Bostyn about that pink jeep! He is such a boy.

I just thought this was a great picture. I gave Bostyn an ice cream sandwich on a plate and she literally licked it clean.


The week after Skylar passed away, his friend from when he was a young kid, Klint came over to watch old home videos. He also treated us to a few songs. Cannon loved watching and listening to him and playing with his boots.



The day after Christmas Derek and I and my little brother and sister went to see Avatar. We were lovin' our super fly 3D glasses...

Scary.

I'm glad we all survived the holidays. I am excited and ready for this new year. I hope we can all improve in the areas needed...
