Digimon Story: Time Stranger[edit]
Yuki Dan/Yuki Kanan, Misono Inori and Aegiomon found three Cannonbeemon about to attack a Muchomon, a Gekomon and a Pyokomon when they returned to Gear Forest in "Too Late". Griffomon then joined the fight on the Agent's side. After defeating the Cannonbeemon trio, Griffomon introduced himself as the Hawkmon the team had saved eight years in the past and thanked them for it, then asked them to go to the Village with him as it was under attack by the Titans. Griffomon then joins the party as a Level 35 Digimon with the Sonic Shot III Attachment Skill. Since the party didn't find Bacchusmon or Sirenmon in the Village, Griffomon decides to stay behind in it while the rest move on to the Sanctuary.
The Agent met with Bacchusmon after defeating Demon in the Akashic Records in "The Final Battle over the Natural Order". He was eating and drinking at the time, which got Griffomon and Piccolomon to criticize him. Unfazed, Bacchusmon invited the Agent's group to join the party. Griffomon and Bacchusmon explained they were looking for Chronomon but couldn't continue as the path was blocked by Chronomon's wings, which would take more strength to break than what a sober Bacchusmon had, hence why he was drinking. Griffomon didn't know that, so to help Bacchusmon, he asked the Agent's group to get red fruit from a nearby tree while he made sure Bacchusmon didn't fall asleep. The fruit's heat helped Bacchusmon, but now he wanted something cold instead, so Griffomon asked the gruop to get a blue fruit this time. After that, he wanted something pungent so Griffomon sent the group to get a purple fruit that looked poisonous as the last one as they had taken too much time already.
However, after obtaining the purple fruit, the Agent got attacked by a copy of Lilithmon alongside copies of Cerberumon. Lotusmon joined the Agent first, surprised at seeing one of the Seven Great Demon Lords and knew she'd be a hard fight even if she was a fake. Rosemon joined soon after for free, followed by Griffomon who refused to be outshined. During the fight, Griffomon can use normal attacks, Sonic Shot III and Supersonic Voice. After the fight, Rosemon complained about the help since she wasn't the same weakling as eight years ago, but Lotusmon and Gryphomon assured her they were aware of how strong she had become. Rosemon then thanked the Agent for their help while Gryphomon confirmed Inori and Aegiomon had brought Bacchusmon the purple fruit.
With his stomach finally filled and his strength back, Bacchusmon destroyed Chronomon's wing, letting the group proceed. After reminscing about how disappointed Sirenmon would be in them if they got stuck there, Bacchusmon and Griffomon told the Agent's group to continue forward and meet Neptunemon on the way, who they were separated from by the wing, using Whamon to reach him. Bacchusmon would join them after he ate more as he had used all his energy, with his subordinates staying with him.
Griffomon is also an obtainable Digimon. It evolves from Hippogriffomon, Garudamon or Butenmon if its SP is 1160 or higher and Speed is 1750 or higher, and if the player's Agent Rank is 7 or above. This can be cut up to 4.71x by Agent Skills, to 246 SP and 372 Speed. Its signature move is Supersonic Voice (32 Wind physical damage to one foe; hits 3 times; increased damage against foes with the Bird gene).
