He was a great MMC and the way he was fully into Victory even though this was new ground for him was so sweet.
The life after loss trope always breaks my heart because I cannot even imagine how terrifying that would be. It’s easy to see how Victory ended up staying stagnant in her grief because I imagine that made it a little less difficult to endure.
The relationship between Victory and Wells was both sweet and cheeky. They had such great banter together but had vulnerable and soft moments too.
I loved seeing all the Brandens, Remingtons, and Silvers, and The Bra Brigade again. The cast of characters in these books are great and so funny. Their constant teasing and all the pranks make the story so fun to read.
I loved that there is never any third act breakup. These books are always so low angst and make incredible comfort reads that I’d recommend to everyone....more

The way Mac was all in from the very first moment was so adorable. I loved his relationship with Celeste, Calla and Talon, but it was definitely the instant love between him and Layla Bug that had my ovaries wanton to open for business again hahaha.
This was fairly low angst! Most of the tension came from Celeste’s trauma from her marriage which was totally understandable. Thankfully Mac was patient with her and she learned to accept his love. The story was also quite low spice which was a nice change for me after just having finished quite a smutty why choose.
I can’t wait to see what’s next in this series. I hope we get a Thor story but I’m also hopeful Talia gets her moment too. Is it too early to ask for book two? ...more

Jayce and Kelsey’s relationship was super precious. It was a second chance romance from way back when they were teens and they slid seamlessly back into that bond. I loved the way Jayce was all in from the get go and that his family was all for it too.
I believe this was the prequel novella to the full-length Resort Love series and it definitely has me excited for the next instalment! This was a fun, sweet, cheesy romance and it made an excellent audiobook to devour.
Thank you to Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for providing me an ALC in exchange for an honest review....more

I found the relationship between Shelby and Gray to be quite precious. They were very sweet, and didn’t let their past get in the way of their future. It was interesting to have the two different timelines that definitely helped show the bones of both their relationship and how/why the town viewed Gray.
Most of the angst came from outside forces like Shelby’s family, and the ridiculous treatment from certain members of the small town. I did like how it was revolved though!
This gave all the sweet, fuzzy vibes of a Hallmark romance and would be the perfect book for cosy up with on a chilly Fall day.
