I loved Nelle and Keane’s relationship. They were clearly done with everyone’s drama and, despite being opposites, meshed so well together and were weirdly cute.
I was always curious about Keane as an MMC. He was such a grumpy cat throughout the whole series but such a loner that you didn’t really learn much about him. I loved that he embodied a typical angry house-cat and some of my favourite scenes were the ones when he got bored with the situation like him knocking over the water bottles over and over again ...more

I absolutely love this series down to my very soul. It’s the epitome of the found family trope. A found family that is constantly adding new members.
Kincaid and Zadie were adorable. I loved that they instantly accepted the bond and were all in from the start. I loved how they balanced each other out.
There were a lot of plot twists and mic drops in this book that gave us some answers and more questions. It also left me excited for what’s to come! J can tell it’s going to be a wild ride....more

I momentarily forgot just how bonkers the honey badgers are and how chaos follows them wherever they go. Shay and Tock together shouldn’t have worked but opposites do attract after all and these two were no exception. I loved how Shay’s laidback personality blended with Tock’s tightly wound one. Tock was also somehow the perfect pairing for Shay’s daughter, Dani, too. Their brains together were the cutest.
Some might complain but I really enjoyed the multiple different POVs. It gave us different yet hilarious views on all the chaotic shenanigans going on throughout the story. Each new POV brought something new to the table, usually in a pretty funny way.
The spice was relatively low as per usual with this series and the romance was amusing because it was almost like they accidentally tripped into it. Like first they were annoyed by each other, then slowly became friends without meaning to, then slipped and fell into a kiss, and from there they were together as a couple. It was funny and cute!
Originally when I started writing this review I was giving it 4 stars but I’ve bumped it up to 5 because I remembered how much I enjoyed myself reading this book. I’m so intrigued by the war they started. I can already tell the next book is going to be just as crazy and full of drama as this one was, if not more, and I cannot wait!!...more

It was so The way Alanea writes makes it easy to dive into this beautiful world and imagine that the found family in this series is part of your own. It was so good to be back with Meryn and her band of misfits causing mayhem and laughter again. The family just keeps getting bigger and better.
Priest and Cas were so wonderful. They complimented each other perfectly and I loved how much they had in common. It was good to see Cas helping Priest through his childhood trauma and we got new family members out of it.
This book wasn’t as spicy as the earlier books but I found myself appreciating how much time was focused on the romance and getting to know each other as mates. While it was clearly Insta-love, they built friendship throughout the story too.
The banter was hilarious as always. I constantly find myself giggling out loud when reading these books and this one was no exception. I think my favourite scene might have been the panic surrounding eggs ...more
