Forrest was so sweet with everyone! From Em and Mo to sweet Lilly and then to Briar, River and Rayne. Letting them all call him Forty was so precious. Briar was the perfect fit for him. She brought him the love and family he’d been craving and when she finally learned to trust? It was beautiful.
I use wholesome often in my reviews but it’s because I gravitate towards books with those vibes. Throw in some found family and no third act break up and this was the perfect book for my anxiety-riddled brain.
This book also had me tearing up twice before I was able to even get past 13%! I cried several times after that too. The hardest was during Briar’s epilogue though. I was a blubbering, sappy mess ...more
I absolutely loved Mason and Lana. They were so adorable together and he was so sweet, he had me kicking my feet while reading. It was 5 stars, baby!!
I absolutely loved Mason and Lana. They were so adorable together and he was so sweet, he had me kicking my feet while reading. It was instalove at its finest but there was no cringe, it was just wholesome.
I’d been so curious about Mason and Bodhi from the very beginning so I was excited to finally get Mason’s story. His history was heartbreaking but the way it turned him into the sweet yet strong man he was was beautiful. I loved the way he was all in with Lana, Beck, and Holland and the way he stood up for them in certain scenes was so precious.
Once Lana got out of her own way, it was clear she was perfect for Mason. He’s been through so much trauma and she was willing to stand by him and help heal him.
Seeing all the side characters from the first few books and also Clementine Creek is always fun but the top highlight for me was the text threads. If you went back to look at my previous AH reviews, I’m an absolute simp for them and this book was no exception.
I cried twice in this book. Once during the scene with Bodhi towards the end, you’ll know the one, and during the press conference in the epilogue. I’m thankful we didn’t get a third act breakup but damn, AH got me in the feels.
Overall this was a very sweet, wholesome small town romance with heavy emphasis on the found family trope. I absolutely cannot wait for what comes next (it better be Bodhi’s book!!) hahaha...more
I swear each new Boston Billionaires book becomes my new favourite. This one had one of my all time favourite tropes, surprise 4.5 “Okay? Okay” stars!
I swear each new Boston Billionaires book becomes my new favourite. This one had one of my all time favourite tropes, surprise pregnancy, and boy was it a doozy!
The story starts off with the most dramatic expose scene and it made me want to pump my fists and high five Sorel. Thankfully Mason was right there to save the day!
The way that Mason went all in on Sorel and called her his “InstaLove” from the very start was swoon-worthy! He was such a simp for her and even though it took her a little longer, she became such a champion for him too.
I love seeing all the Abbot-Fritzes, the Central Square crew and all the various adults and children from that ginormous clan. The banter is always top notch and the loyalty runs DEEP, it’s enviable.
This particular story was damn stressful to read for me haha. Instead of just one third act conflict we got two! First was around the 60% and then again at like 75%-80% mark. Thankfully both issues were resolved super quickly but they had me biting my lip for sure.
Overall this was another banger from J Saman. I really do enjoy these books and the characters and I absolutely cannot wait for what comes next!!...more

Reid and Harlan were very cute together and it all felt very cosy and wholesome. I loved the nicknames they gave to each other, Mr Frost for Harlan, and Christmas for Reid.
I appreciated that this was just a tasty wee morsel of a read! I read it between two heavier books and it made a fun little palate cleanser.
I honestly love each of the novellas Alexandra brings out and i absolutely cannot wait for whatever’s next!...more

It’s based around a table-top RPG, like DnD, called Monsters and Mythology. The FMC, Jo; teaches Felix, the MMC aka Hot Librarian, how to play the game so he can run a game night every week for the library!
It took me a little bit to get into as my mood brain did not want to play but by 30%, I was invested. It had such a fun mix of banter, jokes, cuteness, and straight up nerdiness too.
It was entertaining to learn all the rules and plays and characters too. I’d be so interested to hear a DnD player’s perspective on the game and story.
This book also had a wonderful cast of characters. Felix and Jo were great but we also had Tito, Felix’s Grandpa, as well as meeting all of Jo’s MnM friends when they met up at a con.
Overall this was an enjoyable read and a great debut novel! The story was light and easy, even in the heavier moments, Felix was the cutest boyfriend ever, and I can’t forget to mention Merry the Cat too! If you love DnD, or are intrigued by games, I highly recommend checking this out!
Thank you kindly to @ingramsparksbooks for sending me a copy for my honest review. I can’t wait to see what comes next for Elle M Stewart!
Originally I think my mood reader brain did this book dirty. I’d been in a small town romance novel mood and struggled to get into this one bu4 stars!

I really liked Blair and Wyatt together. Thanks to their waffling it was a bit of a slow burn but once they finally got out of their own way, they worked really well together. I loved that Wyatt was all in from the get go even if he kept messing it up in the most foot-in-his-mouth ways haha.
I also enjoyed the side characters! Jess, Stella, Sophia and Grant were all super fun and I really hope they get their own books in this series!
There was no third act breakup which I was a big fan of. At the start it felt like there was going to be so I got anxious but Wyatt and Blair were just too in love and I was so here for it!
Overall this was a fun second chance, workplace romance and I’m so glad I ignored my mood because I ended up really enjoying it....more
