Canva Designing Challenge

General rules:

1. All students can participate in the activity.


2. Each student should make a Canva account to use the site.
3. The activity is divided into two (2) tasks:

Level 1 – Grade 7 to Grade 8 - Digital Poster Design Contest


Level 2 – Grade 9 to Grade 10 - Infographics Design Contest

1. Designs must revolve around the theme: “Science and Technology: A Response to the Challenge of Time”.
2. The designs will be judged based on the following criteria:

 Content 35%
 Graphical Layout/Creativity 30%
 Appropriateness 25%

3. The deadline for submission of your entries is on or before April 8 at 10 am.


4. There will be 3 winners for level 1 and level 2: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placers.
Lady I-Can KAHOOT!
General Rules:
1. The Lady I-Can Kahoot contest is a team competition and is open to all ICSM students with three (3) participants per
section.

2. The participants are divided into two (2) levels.

Level 1 – Grade 7 and Grade 8


Level 2 – Grade 9 and Grade 10

3. Substitute contestant for each section during the contest is NOT allowed.

4. The contest is composed of three (3) rounds: Easy, Average and Difficult.

5. The questions for the entire contest cover the fields of Sciences and Computer, namely:

Sciences

Level 1 – Biology, Earth Science, Physics, Chemistry

Level 2 – Biology, Earth Science, Physics, Chemistry

Computer

Level 1 – (a) Computer Fundamentals, (b) Office Programs, (c) Photo Editing,

Level 2 – (a) Computer Fundamentals, (b) Office Programs, (c) Photo Editing,

(d) Programming, (e) Web Development

6. The questions are in English.

7. There are ten (10) questions to be answered by the participants for the Easy round, five (5) questions for the Average
round, and five (5) questions for the Difficult round.

8. At the end of each round, points are given to different placers:

9. In case of a tie at the end of the last round, a tie breaker question will be given.

10. At the end of the game, the section with the highest cumulative scores shall be declared the Over-all Winner. The
three highest scoring sections will be declared First, Second, and Third Runner ups, respectively for Level 1. For Level 2,
the two highest scoring sections will be declared First and Second Runner ups, respectively.

11. Total score earned of each participating section shall be shown at the end of each round.

12. All participants will be given a Certificate of Participation and corresponding house points for the winners.

1. Opening prayer – Denea Villafuerte


2. Activity Proper – Presidents ~ reiterate the mechanics for kahoot
3. Start the kahoot game
4. Announcement of winners for the canva designing challenge
5. Announcement of winners for the kahoot game
6. Closing prayer – Hershey Ching

1.Score each player base from the ranking for each round (easy, average, difficult)

2. After each round, add the points of the players who are in the same section and send it to the emcees: Drizzy Belino
and Julia Curato.

3.Make sure that for level 1, there is an overall winner, 1st,2nd, and 3rd runners up and for the level 2, there should be an
overall winner, 1st, and 2nd runner ups

4. Send the final ranking to Yesha Roxas, Scarlet Javier Drizzy Belino and Julia Curato.
