Hola kitties! Today is Straw Hat Day. The Cat Blogosphere used to make a much bigger ado over this day. Every year I'd have to virtually dress up with a straw hat. One year TW actually tried to put a real one on me. It didn't end well. She may still have the scars.
Hola kitties! Nope, the title isn't a typo. When TW told me today was Straw Hat Day which used to be a big deal in the Cat Blogosphere and presented me with a straw hat, I replied "Is it also national 'Oh My G-d, Look My Hand is Bleeding Day'?" She backed off very rapidly as she should have.
Today is National Straw Hat Day, which is the day where humans shed their woolly winter hats and don lighter straw hats. TW hasn't had a straw hat in ages but I rock the virtual straw hats. This Year's model is a variation of the "pink pussy hat." Let me model some of my other straw hats for you.
Welcome to another Caturday Artsy Fartsy Day. You might notice I don't have my beret on today cos tomorrow is Straw Hat Day. Being a multi-tasker, I decided to combine them into one fabulous post. And if that's not enough, I'll also add a straw hat selfie, a few black and white sketches and do some electioneering. Count it: that will be three blog hops and two special days celebrated as one! Can you ax for anything more one kitteh!
