Hola kitties. How many of you know a cat with separation anxiety? You all know one cos this little ghetto kitteh has it. Truth. I had a really bad case when I first moved in the condo. The peeps were convinced I'd been adopted once before and returned to the shelter or abandoned.
Hola kitties! I thought I'd take a page out of Summer's playbook with this post. TW gets a daily email newsletter from a human site that offers tips on lots of human things. I was laying on the corner of the bed looking over her shoulder and the one she was reading caught my eye. I thought it would make a great topic for a cat blog.
Hola kitties! It's my 13th Gotcha Day so I thought I'd take the day off. I've already told you all the details about how I came to move in with these old timers so I'm gonna let Pop and TW write a little something about the past 13 years. I'm not gonna censor anything but if they say something I don't like—that would be you, Woman!—they will have a year of hell until number 14.
Hola kitties. It's no secret that Pop and I have bonded. I have him totally wrapped around my paw. On the other paw, he's the only human I'll purr for. A week after I came to live in the condo, Pop had to go to the human vet hospital for major back surgery. He was gone an entire week. When he came home he wasn't allowed to go to work for a long time. During that time alone, we bonded.
We're nearing the end of the Happy Cat Happy You series. OK, who's the wiseacre clapping? Not nice. The pamphlet provide some quick tips for building a bond with your feline friend—or do they? These bonding tips are suggested by the humans at the Catnip Newsletter and compiled for Tufts Institute. I offer a cat's expert perspective which often differs from what a human thinks we like. This series is not sponsored by anyone except me.
Guess what? I've been neglecting the Happy Cat Happy You series or should I say TW has. They provide some quick tips for building a bond with your feline friend—or do they? These bonding tips are suggested by the humans at the Catnip Newsletter and compiled for Tufts Institute. I offer a cat's expert perspective which often differs from what a human thinks we like. This series is not sponsored by anyone except me.
When I first started posting Foto Frenzies, I promised that all fotos would be unedited and there were some potentially embarrassing ones. For those new to my Foto Frenzy feature, my readers pick a number at random and I match that number to one of our fotos. TW has a dumb system where all my fotos are numbered in chronological order, rather than categorized by what I'm doing in the fotos.
It's time once again to delve into the pamphlet called Happy Cat Happy You and find some quick tips for building a bond with your feline friend. These bonding tips are suggested by the humans at the Catnip Newsletter and compiled for Tufts Institute. I offer a cat's expert perspective which often differs from what a human thinks we like. This series is not sponsored by anyone except me.
As you are all aware of, I just celebrated my 11th Gotcha Day. At the end of the post, I'll announce the winner of the little giveaway I had. I'm practically a senior cat. What I wanna know is why TW insists on talking baby talk to me. Have you ever heard me talk baby talk?
It's time once again for me and Mr. Mouse to check out the pamphlet Happy Cat Happy You. These quick tips for building a bond with your feline friend are suggested by the authors at the Catnip Newsletter and compiled for Tufts Institute. This is a series that I'm running which is not sponsored by anyone. I'm just offering my stunning opinions.
TW says this one is a good one but I'm not so sure. I don't see how feeling your cat up in personal spots could bring me closer to the peeps. It can bring my chompers a lot closer to their yummy fingers though.
It's time once again for a look-see into the pamphlet Happy Cat Happy You. These quick tips for building a bond with your feline friend are compiled by the authors at the Catnip Newsletter for Tufts Institute. Tip #5. Schedule Play Sessions. It says cats are most active at dawn and dusk which is very true. I can't find fault with that. I can only find fault that we have to write out a schedule to play. I'm a spontaneous cat.
TW is a worry wart. She isn't happy unless she's worrying about something: their finances, fire, the election, her health, Pop's health, my health and the list goes on and on. Sunday night it was her turn to once again worry about my health.

I didn't get the third tip at all. CATS VALUE SOLITAIRE. I have never played cards and TW doesn't play it anymore. Now Faith and Autumn did value solitaire. They sat on the table and watched Gramma play every day. … Wait, TW is trying to innerrupt me as usual.
Furrends, I just noticed that TW has a pamphlet on the couch entitled Happy Cat Happy You: Quick Tips for Building a Bond with Your Feline Friend, which is put out by the editors of the Catnip newsletter. Perhaps your human has the same pamphlet. TW and I have built a better relationship recently but it has nothing to do with any advice pamphlet. IN FACT, I'm starting a series to debunk all those facts as they relate to me. I know my situations don't apply to the average cat.
Cats are smart. Of course we are or else we'd be dogs. MOL! That said I've been reading some disturbing things on my furrends' blogs recently calling into question how smart we are. Most cats I know have a PhD or some kind of degree in Human Psychology.
You guys know how much I love to play rockets. TW and I have a new game we play with them. It will give you some idea just how smart a cat I am. Oh and I know what you're thinking about the image so get your mind outta the gutter.
| I gotta listen to the police scanner to see if TW gets arrested. |
If you've ever read this blog before, you won't find it strange that TW and I have the occasional difference of opinion. OK, we disagree a lot. TW is going on jury duty tomorrow. She has to leave very early in the morning which bums her out since her normal "business" hours are 10 am to 1 am. I'm upset cos I haven't been left alone all day in ages. I'll starve to death if I don't get my lunch at noon. Beside those differences, there's the dilemma of how she'll be spending those days away from The Cat.
Yo! Welcome to this month's edition of From a Cat's Perspective™. Say hi to Savannah sitting to my right. We've gotten a great response to our first two shows and hope you enjoy what we're doing. We're talking about one of my favorite subjects this week: Free Food.
| I love free food! |
There's a woman in the Dunkin Donuts near us who always gives TW a free donut or two when she buys her coffee. On those days, Pop always says "free always tastes better" and it does. Right now I'm eating some new kibble that Chewy sent me and it's nommy and … what's that Savvy?
