Hola Kitties! You might have noticed we haven't been commenting as much lately. We have an excuse. Our legal team at Stunning Keisha has been working hard at figuring out what we had to do to make this blog compliant with some new international rules. We've been doing lots of research which may have interfered with the time we'd usually spend visiting our friends' blogs.
I'm going to do something different this week. We're gonna do some work in the computer room rather then in my art studio. I got my Mac all set up so gather 'round. I want to share with you how I created the lead image for Wednesday's post. It required a couple of steps although if TW wasn't so lazy, she could have done it all in Photoshop. Are you ready cos I'm gonna reveal all my virtual design secrets right here … right now! All you PS experts can have a chuckle at this.
I usually don't post when I receive these so-called blogger awards but thought I'd make an exception. I have—or hope I have—many new readers who might not know about my humble social media beginnings. Plus, I always love to give tips to new bloggers, while entertaining my current readers. I received the Blogger Recognition Award from Beau of Pets Overload and his musician human, Johnny, last week.
I'm sure this won't surprise any of you but TW is far from a techie genius. Any mention of the letters h t m and l sends her into cold sweats. The thought of switching hosts or even self-hosted WordPress makes her break out in hives. That said, a few weeks ago some of you may have noticed we went off-line for about eight hours. Blame it on TW. I did. We were transferring my domain name over to a new registrar. OK, it wasn't entirely her fault but I'm gonna tell you what you need to do if you're ever tempted to do this to make your life easier.
