오리진스

1929년 설립된 유대인 델리(New York Deli)는 선원 샌드위치의 원조라고 주장한다.[5][1] 현지 전설에 따르면, 제2차 세계 대전 동안 리치먼드 네이비 V-12 프로그램의 해군 선원들이 뉴욕 델리(New York Deli)에 자주 드나들며 당시 이름 없는 샌드위치를 주문했다고 한다. 누가 공식적으로 샌드위치를 이름지었는지는 확실치 않지만, 결국 세일러 샌드위치로 알려지게 되었다.[1][5]

변형
