Doesn't this little VLVS guy have the sweetest face. I wanted to create a fun background, so got busy with some Distress Inks and torn paper. I wish I'd plucked-up the courage to doodle a border, but I didn't want to spoil the card. It's so often those last little decorative touched that can make or break a project!
I'm sharing this card over at Lost Coast Design, and also at Seize the Birthday where the theme for the current challenge is Stenciling.
It's a lovely sunny day here in the UK, so I'm off to 'play' in the garden. I hope your day is happy too!

I got a chuckle when I saw this card. It is good to make funny birthday cards too. This one is great! I love the bright background. I am glad that you could join us at Seize the Birthday Challenge. Come back again.
OH! What a wonderful image and quote, love the colour mix too. Enjoy the garden, it's beautiful here too, so I've done a little in the garden, but a book and chair were calling louder hahaha. x.
Your background is just as terrific as that sentiment. I am sure the recipient had a good laugh out of this one. Thanks for playing along at Seize the Birthday.
Hahaha love it Jo, what a brilliant sentiment;)
Haha, love this Jo! Great way to stencil the background too. Thanks for playing along with my Stencilling topping at STB.
