Look deep into Nature

Hi Everyone, I made that card a little while ago, but have not yet shown it on my blog. It would be a pity, to forget about it ;) I colored the apples (A Stamp in the Hand) with markers. The worm I colored with Inktense pencils and attached him with foam tape. The sentiment is by Stamp Camp. I love it.  It reads: Look deep, deep into nature and then you will understand everything better (Albert Einstein) Made a frame with a stitched die and mounted it onto a green card base. Happy Stamping! Linking up with: The Paper Players - coloring Dragonfly Dreams - animals Send a Smile 4 Kids - CAS Addicted to Stamps and More - anything goes

Fathers Day Card

Hi Everyone, just a quick post tonight - I wanted to share a Fathers day card I made: This is a one layer card. I started out with the red hearts, masked them and then stamped the frame around it. I then masked the frame and stamped the other frames around. Added the mustache and the sentiment. The card below is actually my first try, but its not a one layer, as the heart is punched. I like the second card much better.... Materials: Frame - Stamp camp, sentiment - PTI father knows best, Moustache - Hampton Art I made this for the One Layer Simplicity challenge  - card with a border or a frame Bizzy Becs - Anything Goes Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Fathers Day Thanks for visiting me today!

OLW and Make it Monday#120

No way I could combine those challenges - so I just made two cards. One layer Wednesday has bugs as a theme and at Make it Monday it is Overlapping Ombre. Since both cards are just very simple one layer cards it went pretty quick... For the bug card I used a stamp set from Stamp Camp. I clear embossed the bee and then used a stencil (TCW) for the honey combs. --X-- For this card I used the Papertrey set Butterfly from the signature series and I colored the stamp with my trusty old Kaleidocolor stamp pad. Since the butterflies looked somewhat naked, I drew them antennae. I hope you like it! Thanks for all your uplifting comments. It has gotten awfully late.... I gotta go to bed.....Have to work tomorrow.....

Simply Create Too Design Team

Hallo,  I am so excited to announce that I am now part of the Simply Create Too Design Team! I could not tell anybody about this until today - the day of the official new design team member announcement! I am very proud to be chosen into this fantastic team. I was a little nervous at first, but everybody has been so welcoming and nice and has put me at ease.  I made this card for the first challenge - it is "Anything Goes" - actually my favorite type of challenge. Although it is a little different if you know that you are supposed to be the "inspiration". Usually if I see a challenge like that I just participate with whatever I have..... I decided to use my all time favorite stamp for this occasion - the famous water droplet stamp by Ryn Tanaka I used distress inks for a watercolor background. The Japanese maple leaves are by Stamp Camp and the sentiment is from Heidi Grace Designs by Fiskars. I put littl...
