Twofer Challenge #17

Hi Everyone,  have you been waiting for my  Twofer  entry?  Well, here it is: I have this ancient set by The Alley Way stamps - -a company that sadly does not longer exist. But I still have plenty of their stamps, which in this case came in handy! For this card I dressed up the bee as vampire - she is riding a broom (Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps) and the sentiment is in part TAWS and Crackerbox & So Suzy Stamps.,  For this card I used a honeycomb stamp and the flightpath from a Joy Clair set for the background. Added Stickles to the wings. Die cut the card base with a die by Simon Says and mo9unted it on to dark brown card stock. I am linking up with: Twofer challenge  - bees Watercooler Wednesday challenge  - anything masculine (first card) Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - travel (first card) - that bee is travelling somewhere Shopping our Stash  - you are so punny ...

Guest Designing at Challenge Up Your Life

Hi Everyone, I am so honored to be guest designing at Challenge up your Life . I won one of their previous challenge with THIS card and that is my reward :) I am so happy!  The theme is just to my liking - its CHEVRON - love it! My old TAWS stamps (the company unfortunately does not exist anymore now for more than a year) did not get much love lately, so I jumped on the opportunity to ink up this fabulous chevron stamp I have from them. The birds are also by TAWS. the sentiment is by Paper Smooches. I used Color Bursts for coloring. Added white Sharpie accents and tiny Nuvo drops  in red. Perhaps you also have some chevron stamps that need some love - ink them up and play along! Happy Stamping! Linking up with: Shopping Our Stash - green Simon Says Wednesday challenge - green Alphabet challenge blog - anything with wings Kitty Bee Designs - Living Things with Wings Simply Create Too - Lots of Green Retro Rubber  - anyth...

Going Grey

Hi Everyone, I am going Grey for Sunday Stamps  - could not resist their inspiration picture - see below. And I also wanted to play with this weeks   Addicted to CAS chevron challenge. And I have the perfect stamp for it, I think. The Line upon Line  stamp from The Alley Way Stamps. As you all can guess - they made that one for me ;) - cool and graphic - just my thing!  I heat embossed it in clear and die some ombre sponging with Black Soot distress ink. The sentiment is also from TAWS  - all about YOU . Added seam binding. The arrow is from my die cut scrap pile. I could not resist to add the tiny neon pink strip - a little snippet lying around on my craft table. It might disqualify me from the Sunday Stamp challenge, but I could not resist. This card need a teeny tiny bit of color.... The sequin is actually pink as well, but looks purple in the picture. Hope you like it and hopefully I will not get disqualified... Happy Stampin...

HapBee Birthday

Hi Everyone, I finally managed to make a card for my friend Monika's linky party . She is celebrating her birthday and of course I have to join in. You have to CASE one of her cards. I choose a really adorable one with a stenciled background and an animal in front and a white on black sentiment - see below. So, that's exactly what I did here: Monika's darling card: My materials:  the stencil is by iStencil  - its called swirling heart, but I see a whirlwind here.... The fat bee is by TAWS (Bee Unique)- I gave her glitzy vellum wings (Stickles) and a tiny googly eye. Simon Says Wednesday challenge  - CAS TAWS - linky party - anything with TAWS stamps Send a Smile 4 Kids  - birthday fun Seize the Birthday  - make your own background - I wonder if the stencil counts as background - I think it does... CAS Class 4 - "Homework"

I have enrolled in the newest CAS class, but so far have not had time to do ANYTHING.......how awful is that? Finally today I made some time....This is from day 2 where Shari Carroll plays with fun foam.  So did I: And I'm loving the result! Used my Marianne die and stamped with it. Added Washi tape and embellies. So cool, that fun foam! I will use it more often from now on! I will be adding this card to  Just us Girls Simon Says Wednesday challenge - Anything goes Inkspirational - Rose color The Card Concept - CAS card And here is my second card - a Trifold card - Julie Ebersole's contribution - so much fun! Stencil Fun and another card

Hi, I recently discovered this new stencil company called i stencil  and had to order a bunch. This is the first card I made with my loot.... I just love it! I actually made it for the Just us Girls challenge, but then totally forgot to write up the blog post and link it....oh well. I do like the colors and of course that stencil, its so up my alley! The die cut is by Memory Box -  Poppy die, the sentiment is CASual Fridays and Simon Says stamps. So I am just linking it up with  CAS on Sunday  - Stencil it and with Seize the Birthday  - just going with the birthday theme. My second card is for Color Throwdown  - I not often succeed in making a card for a weekly challenge, but this time it worked for me.... I used a TAWS set for this - its called Tropic Topic , stamped it and fuzzy cut it. Puddled some turqoise at the bottom. The leaves are clear embossed on the green strip.  I added the sentiment - its from...
