PRAMBORS BAND - 10 PENCIPTA LAGU REMAJA

In 1978 there was a huge music competition in Indonesia called the The Prambors Youth Songwriting Competition (LCLR). This album is made up of songs that didn't win in this competition. That's right, songs that didn't win. The record company put a band called the Prambors Band in the studio with a bunch of, at that time, big names, to work on these songs, Eddy Silitonga, Dedy Stanzah, Louis Hutahuruk and Hutta M. and this album was the result.... This is the promotional vinyl copy for radio stations, the cassette version has more songs on it with Sarah Hutahuruk also singing... GET IT HERE Enjoy!

GITO ROLLIES & DEDDY STANZAH - HIGHER AND HIGHER

This, to me, is one of THE best rock and funk albums ever released in Indonesia and it's weird, but nobody ever talks about it and it's just beyond me how this has never been re-released. Maybe because it's so hard to find and it only, as far as I know, came out on cassette. It's James Brown meets the Rolling Stones, blues, disco, prog-rock, funk, all on one album by Gito Rollies and Deddy Stanzah. This is a bootleg tape, probably a copy of a copy but the sound quality is still pretty much ok.... GET IT HERE Enjoy!

DEDDY STANZAH - GADIS DALAM ROCK

Deddy Stanzah was born Deddy Sutansyah on 14 April 1949 in Bandung, he was a member of God Bless, The Rollies and Superkid, he was a very, very talented musician as you can hear on this mega-rare solo album (which is a promotional vinyl copy for radio stations, this officially only came out on cassette). Years and years of addiction ruined his health, ravaged his lungs and a heart condition plagued him and he passed away at age 51 in Bandung on 22 January, 2001..... GET IT HERE Enjoy!
