Nice gams, eh? When I found this table my first thought was "Karl Springer" but that turned up nothing with a quick search. Then I remembered Pace! Not a fancy desinger but still a well respected name in the design world.

Well, After Another Particularly Dry Spell (I Guess I Should Figure Out If It's Some Sort of A Pattern, Right?) Things Are Once Again Flowing. I Picked Up This Fabuous Chrome And Glass Pace Coffee Table After Work Monday Evening. It's Quite Heavy. Status: Available.

"Say Kids, What Time Is It?!" If You Recognize THAT Quote Then You Might Have Bought A Wood And Brass Plated Wire Clock Like This Back In The Day! Status: Already Gone!
So, when I picked up the Danish daybed / sofa I featured a couple days ago, the seller asked if I'd be interested in this clock they had on the dining room wall. You Betchya! I can't say no to a beautiful sunburst wall clock.

If You've Ever Been A Vendor At An Antique Mall You Know The Two Sides Of Smalls. They Are A Pain But Sorta Necessary. At Least They Are Fun To Shop For! Status: Another Load For The Time Machine.
Unwrapping, cleaning, photographing, rewrapping, loading, unloading, tagging and placing these items in the booth can (as you might have guessed) be a chore...but it sometimes pays the rent.

The Last Of The Halloween In New Orleans Booty. I Couldn't Resist This Pair Of Jerry Johnson Tubular Chrome Barstools That I Found On Craigslist...Even If They Didn't Come With The Original Pads. Status: Project? Available?
Super mod, right? I love 'em. If I didn't already have my dream barstools I'd have new cushions made and keep this set. While yes, they are missing the original cushions, I'm pretty proud that they both have all four end caps on the legs.

I'm Not Much Of A Morning Person But Sometimes Waking Early Can Really Pay Off. Being On Craigslist When This Pair Of Richard Schults / Knoll Outdoor Tables Popped Up Was Just Preparation Meeting Opportunity. Status: Available / Project.
These look a hot mess, but when you've done enough research into vintage modern design they are instantly recognizable as being a Knoll product designed by Richard Schultz. They are in fact the 1966 line of outdoor tables in aluminum with porcelain steel tops. Tables worth taking a second look at!

Say, Remember That Canadian Made - Danish Modern Bedroom Suite That I Featured Here A Couple Months Ago? I've Got Another Set By The Same Company With An Even MORE Engaging Style. Status: Already Gone.
You might recall the "Cana-Danish Modern" bedroom set that I featured here back in March. That set caused quite an uproar with a local buyer who missed buying the set and was quite "vocal" about it, but this set was procured with much less drama.

I Find The Happy Coincidences Necessary To Put This Fantastically Mod Swag Light In It's Next Home Just Crazy! Of Course The Final Move Will Be The Easiest, At Least From My Perspective! Status: Available.
This super mod swag lamp came from the same home as the last four chairs I've featured here. I tol' ya! I cleaned the joint out! Today I got to thinking about the long journey it took for me to get there. Want the condensed version? Yeah, I don't have THAT much time either!

Sorry I've Been Absent The Last Couple Days. Been Busy 'Round Here, But I've Got A Great Pair Of Armchairs To Share With You Today. Just The First Part Of A Nice Midweek Haul. Status: Already Gone.
A (REALLY) good friend of ours hooked me up with a friend of their's who was paring down their household in preparation for moving to a smaller apartment. Our friend thought I might be interested in some of the items available. Boy were they right!

The Third Piece Of Broyhill Sculptra This Week! AND This Is The Second Sculptra Knee Hole Desk That I've Made Available. The Last One Found A New Home All The Way Up In Chicago! Status: Already Gone.
Just behind the desk you can see the full size bookcase headboard that also came with all the Sculptra that I just dropped off in booth 307 at The Antique Mall Of Creve Coeur. Now you know why it took me FIVE hours to bring all this in, clean it all up, photograph it and tag it! That's just a lot of big furniture!

Yes! More Sculptra! This Five Drawer Chest Of Drawers Came In Along With The Six Drawer Dresser That I Featured The Other Day. A Nice Set You Say? Besides These Two There's Still More! Status: Already Gone.
Yep, this was part of Saturday's haul what cost Mr M. five full hours of hard labor. It's a tough row to hoe, but somebody's got to do it...and I don't mind so much. It's nice to have such a large space here in Creve Coeur that I can do just a bit of re-arranging and manage to stuff in a few more large items.

Camels. A Regal Beast? Maybe Not, But They Are Representative Of A Certain Eastern Spirit And Nature. As Art They Perhaps Evoke A Somewhat Bohemian Feeling. Status: Available.
A few weekends back, after about a month and a half of dry pickings, we dropped by a little antique mall in the heart of Florissant. This wall art Camel set wasn't all I found there but the Girlfriend Really liked them and they were in a booth having a good sale. How could I resist?

Timing Is Everything. Just After Finding A New Home For That Vintage Redline BMX Bike I Found A Couple Weeks Back I Picked Up This Beautiful Broyhill Sculptra Dresser (And More). Status: Already Gone.
What a day. Beautiful weather, shifting merch. and hauling in more! I spent 5 hours today buying, hauling, moving, cleaning, tagging and photographing new items for my booth at the Antique Mall of Creve Coeur. Pretty great way to spend a Saturday if you ask me!

After Yesterday's Distinct Lack Of Color I Thought I'd Hit Ya With A Big Ol' POP Of Pigment Today! This Vintage Pull Down Three Way Kitchen / Dining Table Light Was Picked Up At The Auction About A Week Ago. It's Headed To The Shag Soon. Status: Quite Purdy.
I almost bowed out of the bidding on this but stepped back in at the last moment and hit pay dirt. You'd usually read about my litany of complaints after an auction but I guess that because there was so much available at this particular one, there was almost no way I wasn't going to be able to come home with something!

I Rarely Pick From Antique Malls As Well, That's Where Already Picked Items End Up...But Sometimes - With A Little Luck - You Still Can Still Find A Real Bargain! This Walnut Danish Modern Tea / Bar Cart Was Found At The Creve Coeur Antique Mall Saturday Evening And Is Headed To The Green Shag Market! Status: Mall Flip!
Love it when I don't have to do any more work than tagging up a new offering. I'm gonna try to drop off this little collapsible tea or bar cart down at the Green Shag Market tomorrow morning before work.

Before And After. This Was The Last Piece Of The United Furniture Corp Bedroom Set That I Picked Up Last Year. Now It's A Fantastic Credenza / TV Stand! Status: Headed To Da Booth!
This has become a pretty flexible little piece! It can be used as a bookshelf and display stand, a TV entertainment center or even as a footboard case piece. You could even place this on top of a long dresser or credenza for additional storage and display area. See, flexible!

Another Weekend...More Stock In "The Shop" @ Creve Coeur Antique Mall. Straight From Columbia Mo, Burke Tulip Table Trio. These Never Even Made It Out Of The Car! Status: Available.
It was the little side table that got me. There was an ad on craigslist in Columbia for a blue recliner, nothin' special...but sitting next to it was one of these two matching Burke Tulip side tables. After calling the seller I found out there was a pair. I put them on my list.

The '68 Exhibit. Has Anybody Been? I Hate To Say That I Didn't Even Know About It Until Today When My Good Friend Kevin Sent Me A Couple Of Pics Of The St. Louis Installation. Status: Intrigued.
While I was at work today my friend Kevin sent me a couple of quick photos of the '68 Exhibit at the St. Louis History Museum in Forest Park. Once I got home I looked around for some other pics of the exhibit to share with you from other installations. I gotta go check this out.

I Have Been Hoping To Find One Of These For Years! "A Slide Projector?" You Say...Not Just Any Slide Projector, An AUTOMATIC ADVANCE Slide Projector! Status: Party Entertainment!
I've already got two other slide projectors that I bought years ago...but, as it turned out, neither would automatically change the slides. I was almost sure there was such a thing but had just never stumbled across one until Sunday afternoon.
