Relax - you've earned it

We are at the start of the May Challenge at Path of Positivity.  For the month of May, our optional twist is Change Your Environment and we are sponsored by All Dressed Up and Scribbles Designs.

I have used an image from All Dressed Up called sight-seeing in Paris.

I also used digital papers from Dana's Inspiration (inside) and PixelScrapper (outside panel).  The sentiment is from Create with TLC.  The Eiffel Tower die is from Marianne Designs.

I followed a tutorial for an S-Fold Card.

Hello

When I saw the colours for this challenge, I found I had the perfect paper for this card.  And it was one purchased as a prize from a previous challenge at Butterfly Challenge.

CHNC Patterned Paper - August Challenge

I have used a digital paper from Buddly Crafts which has all three colours in it.  I added sentiments from Dana's Inspirations and Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.  I added some flower shaped buttons in Magenta and two butterfly buttons also in Magenta.

I followed the tutorial for a bow front card from The Butterfly Challenge.  I decided to attempt Version II.

Hello

Today is the first day of Spring - and the sun has been shining all day.  However, the weather forecast for the rest of the week isn't so great.  So I guess I'll have some more crafting time.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday - Sketch
http://sweetsketchwednesday2.blogspot.com/2019/08/sketch-165-and-166-with-bugaboo-stamps.html

I kept to a simple colour scheme of mainly black, white and pink with a couple of touches of gold.  The paper is from a paper pad by Kaisercraft.  The image is from MMedel Illustrations and the sentiment is from Dana's Inspirations.  Colouring is with copic markers and Wink Of Stella.  I also used a piece of grosgrain ribbon from my stash

The layout follows the sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.  I had been having a bit of a block on layouts recently and found the two sketches from the current challenge at Sweet Sketch Wednesday gave me inspiration to move past that block.

Here is the sketch that I followed:

Snowman and snowflakes

A very wintry card that kind of seems weird to create when we are springtime!

The card is for the following challenges:
Bearly Mine Challenges - Anything Goes

Sweet Sketch Wednesday - Sketch as below

Lady Anne's Progressive Christmas Challenge - Anji's Antics images
http://www.ladyanneschallenges.com/6/post/2013/03/christmas-progressive-challenge-3.html

The sketch that I have followed for this challenge is this one:

The background papers for this card come from Bearly Mine Designs and work really well with this image.  The image is one of two images supplied by Anji's Antics for the challenge at Lady Anne's Progressive Challenge.  The other additions to this card are some snowflakes from a Spellbinders die and blue metallic paper.  The snowflakes have been embellished with some matching Kaisercraft pearls - couldn't believe how well they matched!  I have also used some green Glitter Tape from American crafts and a sentiment from Dana's Inspirations.

Kenny K Snowman Sketch

Despite the fact that the sun is shining outside and it is summer here, I still keep being drawn to wintry images!

This card is for the challenges at:

Love to Create - Anything Goes with sentiment
http://lovetocreatechallenge.blogspot.co.nz/2013/01/challenge-50-anything-goes-with.html

I have used some snowflake paper from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.  The image is from Kenny K.  The sentiment is from Dana's Inspirations.  I have added a string of pearls and rhinestones to two sides of the card and then three individual rhinestones to the top right.

I actually found this sketch really enjoyable to work with and it was one of those times when I knew exactly what I wanted to do.

Beautiful Butterflies

The challenge at Love to Create is "Things with Wings"
http://lovetocreatechallenge.blogspot.co.nz/2012/09/challenge-33-things-with-wings.html

This gave quite a bit of scope - planes, owls, other birds, angels, etc.  I chose to work with butterflies after finding some beautiful paper that I wanted to create with.

This lovely paper comes from Dana's Inspirations.  I just love the vivid colours of this paper.  The image is a coloured image from Create with TLC and the sentiment is a recent freebie from Create with TLC which was just the perfect finishing touch for the card.

Scrap it

Meljens Designs Studio came up with an interesting challenge this time:
http://meljensdesignsdt.blogspot.co.nz/2012/09/challenge-127-scrap-it.html

I have bought so many scrap packs years ago that I thought I would get alot of use out of and are still languishing in my supplies!  This gave me an excuse to have a good going through these packs.

I have used several different scraps from the one pack which sort-of co-ordinate but with this card I didn't feel it really mattered.  The top piece is the reverse of the right hand one on the bottom layer.  I used a Martha Steward Eyelet Lace border punch on that one.  I have used four different scrap pieces plus the reverse of one to make this card.  The image is Beach Kitty from Meljens Designs Studio.  I felt that this made a very good Hello card so found a sentiment from Dana's Inspirations that matched the feel of the paper scraps with it's flourish.  The ric-rac is from American crafts, the die-cut is a Spellbinders and the image has been coloured with copics.
