We are at the midway point of the Music Challenge at Path of Positivity.  Our March sponsors are Luna Girl and Scribbles Designs.

My base for this is a canvas.  I added some Brusho  powders and then spritzed them with water.  I added some music themed stickers, die-cuts and digi stamps along with a digital sentiment from The Alley Way Stamps.

Just A Note

 This month at Path of Positivity, the theme is Music: Good For The Soul.  The sponsor for the month of March is Luna Girl.

I have used items from a set by Luna Girl called Music Digital Collage Set.

I added a sentiment from Desert Diva.  I like the vintage look of it with the feather quill and also the musical reference.  I also inked the edges of the layers.

For the month of January, the optional twist at 12 Months of Christmas is "Clean and Simple".  We are now at the midway point of the challenge which is sponsored by Luna Girl.

Style

The first Monday of April is here, so it is time for the start of the challenge at Path of Positivity.  This month, our theme is Style.  I have incorporated style in two ways - the style of my card (I tend toward CAS) and the style of clothing (can be found in swimming togs alot).  The sponsor for our Style Challenge is Luna Girls:

Brads, Buttons and Bows at 12 Months Of Christmas

We are midway through the March challenge at 12 Months Of Christmas.  For the month of March, the optional theme is Brads, Buttons and Bows and the challenge is sponsored by Luna Girl.

I have created a card using an image from Winter Fun Digital Collage Sheet.

 

I also used one of the digital papers from the March set by Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.   I added a button with a bow added on top and two star shaped sparkly brads.  Matting is red and yellow cardstock.

Bouquet of Flowers

We are midway through the September challenge at Path Of Positivity.  This month the focus is on one of my favourite colours - orange!

I have used an image from a Digital Collage Sheet from Luna Girl.  The set is called Still Life Backgrounds & Minis Digital Collage Sheet.

I also have used some orange paper to cover my cardstock, some orange patterned washi tape and some orange embellishments that I have had for some time and never used.  I got them from another DT member on swap we did a couple of years ago!

A Merry Christmas

We are now at the midway point of the August challenge at 12 Months of Christmas.  The optional theme for August is Add Some Greenery.  August sponsor is Luna Girl.

I have used an image from a collage sheet called Old Fashioned Christmas Digital Collage Sheet.

I also used a digital paper from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles, along with a gem studded mesh ribbon and a holly embellishment.  I added a bit of depth to the leaves in the image with a silver Wink Of Stella pen.

Shades of Yellow and Orange

We are midway through the Favourite Colours challenge at Path of Positivity.  For this challenge, we are sponsored by Luna Girl and Sheepski Designs.

For my project I have used an image from a Collage Sheet by Luna Girl.

I have also used a paper from a paper pad by Kaisercraft.  Matting is orange cardstock.  I added some flowers and leaves from a floral embellishment pack.

Surround Yourself with Art

The theme for the September Challenge at Path Of Positivity is Surround Yourself with Art and is sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps and Luna Girl.

I took this literally as I am surrounded by white walls - so surrounding myself with art canvasses breaks up some of the white!

I have used an image from Luna Girl from a collage sheet called Meet Me In Paris.

I also used some Dylusions Ink for the background.  The sentiment is from Papers and Prints.  I also added a flower embellishment from Rosie's Studio.  I inked the edges of both the image and sentiment with Distress Ink - Vintage Photo.

Make a joyful noise

A more traditional image - with a less traditional colour in the background.  I feel this colour adds to the vintage feel of the card though.

I have used a paper and sentiment from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles. The image is a pre-coloured image from Luna Girl.  I matted both the image and the sentiment with some gold metallic paper.  I also added two different sizes of gold pearls from Rosie's Studio.

Midway for 12 months of Christmas

Time for a midway reminder for the challenge at 12 Months of Christmas.  For this challenge, we are sponsored by Luna Girl and our theme is Gold and Silver.  Whilst the theme is optional to follow, only those that do are eligible to win the sponsor's prize.

For my card, I have used an image from Luna Girl from a Collage sheet entitled Victorian Christmas Digital Collage Sheet

I have used two papers from different sets but both from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.  I also used a sentiment from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles - I changed the colour of the sentiment from black to a more silver colour after seeking permission from Lisa Décosse. 

Matting is silver metallic paper and I also added some gold pearls from Rosie's Studio.

Vintage Christmas

I really love these vintage images - it reminds me of some of the christmas images that I had in a scrapbook when I was growing up.  I'm not sure if I still have that scrapbook somewhere but if I do I would love to find it again!
