 This is the final card for the week long Woodland Birthday Bash at Catch The Bug.  I'm not totally happy with this one but I can't work out why (think I'm just too tired) so I'm just going to go with what I have got now.

I have used two digital papers for the background - the music one is from My Graphico and I'm not certain of the source of the other one.  I covered the joins between the papers with some PeelCraft Stickers.  

The image and sentiment are from two different sets from Bugaboo Stamps.  Colouring is with copic markers to match the colour palette inspiration for this challenge.  That is part of the reason for the blue fox - and I felt like a change of colours for the fox.  Maybe the fox is feeling the cold a bit?

Happy Birthday

Most of this card is using items out of my Awaiting Crafting boxes.  I have a separate box for digital papers, images and sentiments that I printed out some time ago and haven't used.  I think some of the images date back to when I had a week's holiday break when I printed out some images and took my markers with me.  Not all of them managed to be coloured and what was coloured hadn't made it on to a card.

I have used an offcut piece of a digital paper from My Grafico.  The image and sentiment are from Pattie's Creations.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I added some Glossy Accents to the balloons.   Matting is pink pearlescent paper.  I added a couple of dark pink pearls plus one light pink pearl as embellishments

Relax & Take A Little Time For Yourself

That is something we all need to do at the moment.  I am spending a fair bit of my day either reading or crafting as both are relaxing for me.  That is, when I'm not trying to clear my blocked nose!

This card uses a previously printed digital paper and sentiment.  I am trying to conserve my printer ink through our lockdown by printing as little as possible.  I'm not sure how much printing I can get done out of the remaining ink.

I have used a digital paper from My Grafico.  The image is from The Paper Shelter and the sentiment is from Bird's Cards.    I also used a couple of different ribbons in  similar colours.  I added three little flowers.

I have used three different colours of the same digital paper from My Grafico.  The images and sentiment are from All Dressed Up.  I reversed the image on the right so the two images were facing each other (with the right hand one a "baby sister" to the left hand one).  Colouring is with copic markers and Wink Of Stella (the tutus have been sparkled up).

I followed a card fold tutorial at Beccy's Place for a Double Z Card.

Trick or Treat

The rain is back again.  I know that we have to expect a bit of rain in springtime - but this is far more than "a bit"!!!  It gives me some crafty time though.

I have used a paper from a paper pad by ProvoCraft.  The image is from Rick St Dennis and has been coloured with copic markers  The sentiment is from My Grafico.  The dies used are from Memory Box.  I added some faux stitching around the edge to match the "stitching" on the dies.  I also added some Halloween brads and embellishments plus a strip of purple mesh ribbon.

Trick or Treat

When I saw a colour challenge of green and purple, it immediately made me think of Halloween.  So, I found a suitable Halloween image that I hadn't used before!

I have used three papers from My Grafico which I edged with silver peel-off stickers.  The image is also from My Grafico.  The sentiment is from Sans Designs.  Colouring is copic markers and Stickles on the bubbles.  My two shapes are circle and rectangle.  I added four gemstones to the points where the top two layers of papers cross.

Path of Positivity - Joy

It's time for another challenge at Path Of Positivity.  For this challenge the theme is Joy.  I find joy in listening to music - it can be so uplifting at times and calming at others.  Both my children have played in bands - one in a Brass Band and the other in a Symphonic Band.  This quote with it's musical instrument appealed to me and really represented the joyfulness that I find in music.

I have used a template from Quick Cards magazine for a Double Dutch Card.  I covered the template in paper from My Grafico.  The image is from Fresh Brewed Designs and the pre-coloured sentiment from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.   I coloured the image with copic markers and added some Stickles.

I have used a background paper from My Grafico.  The two rectangular papers are offcuts from MME papers I think.  The fourth paper (behind the music note) is from DIY and Digital Designs.  The music note has been cut from green cardstock using a Memory Box die.  The buttons are some from my stash.  I have also stitched together some lace and ribbon and added this to the card - actually to be honest my teenage daughter stitched it for me!

Pop-it up butterfly

This latest creation is a card using 2 digital stamps from A Day for Daisies.  One butterfly is just plain while the other has notes over it.

The card is based on sketch 180 at The Sweet Stop which can be found at the link above.

The background has been stippled using a shaving brush and two Distress Ink colours - mustard seed and vintage photo.  The matting is black cardstock.  The music paper comes from My Grafico and is called Vintage Sheet Music.  The next layer is a piece of butterfly patterned ribbon.

The 2 butterfly images from A Day for Daisies have been coloured using a yellow copic marker and then stippled with Distress Ink - Vintage photo to mimic the music paper.  The music one has then been layered over the plain one and the wings curved a bit to give it more body.

The sentiment is one from Desert Diva.  My daughter is sitting a music exam soon and I'm hoping this will be able to be used for her!

The card uses some pretty pink paper from My Grafico.  The lace is white with a red edge.  The image is the Sassy Studio Designs image "Support A Cause".  The sentiment is from Sugar Paw Scraps.  The flowers were white ones that I have coloured with copic markers.  I have then added various rhinestones to give the card some bling!
