The End is Near

The Summer is coming to a quick end for us. We are excited to head home. We have really enjoyed our time here in St. Louis.
We went to the St. Louis Arch and had a blast. We woke up bright and early and headed there so we could get back in time for Ben to start working at noon. We got lost on the way but it was definitely worth the trip.
The arch is AMAZING!!! I don't know how they made anything like that...it just towers in the air.
Waiting for the tram to come to take the ride to the top
The tram is little tiny and a lot of people get claustrophobic inside. I was glad it was just me and Ben inside.
The doors were made for midgets!
Inside the tram on our way to the top!
We made it to the top.
The view from the top
A kiss at the top of the arch...MUAH!
Back in the tram, riding down the arch
Outside of the arch...it REALLY is huge
hugging the arch...we love St. Louis
Ben jumping off the arch
We bought lemon-drops and they made my soul so happy. They remind me of my childhood and going over to my great-grandparents house...they always had lemon-drops for us to eat.
My mom and sister Kaylee sent us this cool package that had this adorable baby outfit in it...we are having a baby in February 2010!! We are so excited!!

I love to see the temple

This week Ben and I finally got to go to the temple together. Our schedules have been so busy and crazy that there hasn't been a lot of time this summer to go to the temple together. The Saint Louis temple is really cool because you are just driving on the freeway and then BAM it appears out of nowhere. It is beautiful and I was so glad that I got to spend the morning with Ben in the temple.

Temples, Slides, and Weddings

Last week Ben and I went to Utah to spend some time with our families and attend Michelle's wedding. I left on Wednesday and spent two days with my family. Wednesday my mom took my sisters, aunt, and me out to eat at Bajios. She was so nice to do that because I have been craving it because they don't have anything like that out here in St. Louis. Later that night we went to the temple because Michelle and my brother Derek were going through the temple for the first time. I was so glad that I got to be there! After the temple we all went out to eat at Village Inn and while we were there someone bashed in Stephen's (Michelle's fiances) window and stole his GPS, camera, and Michelle's cell phone. That was a bad way to end the night.
Thursday we went to the Oquirrh Temple open house with my aunt Debi and Uncle Tony who aren't members are of the church. They loved going and thought it was so neat and even liked learning a little bit about our religion. The temple was gorgeous!
Friday Ben flew in and we went and spent the day with his family. We went to the Apline Slides in Park City and had a blast with them.
Saturday was the BIG day. Michelle and Stephen got married at 8:40 in the morning. Well Ben and I got lost on the way to the temple and just about missed the sealing...trust me my family let me have it afterwards. The sealing was beautiful and they both looked so happy. The rest of the day we ran around like two chickens with their heads cut off. We had so much to do with helping my parents in getting ready for the reception and luncheon. I guess it is safe to say that I was glad when everything was over with. But all in all we had a great time with our families. I have really missed seeing them this summer and it was great to spend a few days with them. Love you guys!
Here are a few pictures from the weddingMichelle and Stephen just after the sealingThe happy couple with my parents...can I just say that my parents are INCREDIBLE! Michelle had her reception in our backyard and it looked amazing! They do so much for us and I truly appreciate them!Ben and I
