Our Little Miss Reeser Piecer is 6 months old!!!
Holy Smokes where has the time gone?P
I feel like it was just yesterday that they put her in my arms for the first time and then I blinked and she is now half of a year!
We went to the dreaded doctor today and Reese did so well with her shots. Reese has grown so much in the last two months.
Height: 25.5 inches
Weight: 15 lbs. 8 oz.
This is such a fun age because her personality is really starting to come out now and it is so fun.
She has become so interested in EVERYTHING that we are doing. She is constantly grabbing at things that we are doing and wanting to play with them. She is getting into everything that is in reach.
We put her in the bathroom with us while we get ready in the morning and she thinks it is quite interesting when we brush our teeth. I usually give her Ben's toothbrush while I brush my teeth...
| {As you can see she knew exactly what to do with it} |
She is always trying to figure out how to get my hair things off of my wrist so one morning I gave it to her. She had so much fun sucking on that thing and by the time I got it back it was soaked!
I thought this video was silly of her because it looks like she has a goatee!
One of my favorite things about Reese is her beautiful smile. It is so easy to get her to smile. She is a little bit bashful too. If she doesn't know you very well she will smile at you for just a second and then turn away and hide her smile from you. It is adorable! She has also started posing for the camera. Every time we pull the camera out we say, "Reese say cheese" and she whips out one of those killer smiles.
Resse has brought so much joy into our home!
Since it is her half birthday today we decided that we needed to celebrate! I have never been one to celebrate half birthdays but it was a good excuse for buying Reese a new outfit and going and getting one of our favorite desserts.Thank you Reese for having a half birthday so we could justify eating a Pizookie today, but most of all thank you for coming to our family. We sure do love you little girl and look forward to celebrating many more birthdays with you!
