Red Rolex Submariner
Reference 1680
Hannes, who is a co-owner of the German R-L-X.de Rolex forum took this stunning shot of this Red Submariner. The Rolex Reference 1680 Submariner was the first Submariner to have add a date complication along with the date magnifier. The 1680 was preceded by the 551X Subs which included the 5510, 5512 (COSC), 5513 (Non-COSC), 5514 (Comex with helium release valve) and 5517 (Milsub).

I could not help myself, I had to see what it would look like with an all blue bezel:

I think the red bezel would look really cool on a black strap so I did this quick and dirty mockup. I also think this combo would be stunningly cool with a white dial.
