Johnny Carson is probably one of the most famous & beloved people that ever wore a Rolex—certainly in the United States. The photo below shows Johnny Carson sporting his yellow gold Rolex Day-Date back in 1979.

The photo above is screen-shot from The Tonight Show interview below where Johnny Carson interviews Bo Derek, just after her blockbuster movie, titled "10" was released back in 1979. The interview is really funny as we see Johnny drooling all over Bo...and he is flashing his Rolex President quite a bit...

So when it come to Hot, there is Hot, then there is Bo Derek HOT...Youch!!!! I remember seeing the original "10" movie back when I was 12 years old and it completely blew my mind. I remember it was the first Rated "R" movie I ever saw :-0

In the two photos below of Johnny Carson we see him wearing his Rolex Day-Date while hanging out with John DeLorean on February 8, 1981, at the launch event for the DeLorean DMC-12. Johnny Carson was just one of many Hollywood celebrities that invested in The DeLorean Motor Company...

Rush Limbaugh passed away today at the age of 70. Rush was an prolific conservative radio personality who had a nationally syndicated TV show from 1992 to 1996. Rush tended to be outspoken on many different issues and ironically lost his hearing ability in 2001, which explains the device seen above his ear in the photo above. Rush's death was attributed by his wife as being related to lung cancer from smoking cigarettes and cigars.

Rush Limbaugh wore a number of different Rolex watches including a yellow gold Day-Date (pictured above), as well as a Rolex Day-Date Masterpiece with a meteorite dial with diamonds as we see on his wrist in the photo below as well as in the first photo in this story.

Six Decades with Rolex Keeping the Time Of His Life

Hugh Downs passed away today at age 99. Hugh was a famous talk show host as well as being a pioneering game show host. I met Hugh Downs back in San Francisco when I was a boy in the late 1970s and had a great conversation with him and his wife at a restaurant on Union Street which was named Morty's. I remember the warmth of his gracious personality as well as his genial gentility.

He starred on the TV show named Concentration (from 1958 to 1969),

Hugh Downs was a regular on the Today Show from 1962 to 1971. The photo below of Hugh Downs was taken in the early 1960s on the set of the Today Show.

Hugh Downs was also the announcer and sidekick for Jack Paar on Tonight Show from 1957 to 1962. In the photo below, we see Jack Paar, pictured on the far left also wearing a Rolex. On the far right, we see Jose Melis.

The photo above was taken in 1961 on the set of the TV show, Concentration. In this next photo, we see Hugh Downs in 1979 in a publicity photo when he was the Chairman of the U.S. Committee for UNICEF, and he hosted a two hour TV special named Celebrate The Children, which was a celebration of hope for children of the world.

Hugh Downs is probably best known for being one of the founding reporters with Barbara Walters on 20/20. Hugh starred on 20/20 from 1978 to 1999!!!

There were many famous correspondents who were part of the 20/20 team including Bob Brown, Tom Jerriel, Sylvia Chase, Giraldo Revera,  and John Stossel who are pictured below in the 1980s. Other famous 20/20 correspondents (not pictured) included Martin Bashir, Katie Couric, Chris Wallace, and Stone Phillips.

In the next photo below we see Hugh Downs in 1989 celebrating the 50th Anniversary of his career in broadcasting, on the set of 20/20. His career began in May of 1939 as a radio announcer in Ohio.

In the two recent photos below, we see Hugh Downs pictured on the right, with NASA Apollo Astronaut Buzz Aldrin. Notice Hugh Downs is wearing his yellow gold Rolex Day-Date. Basically, as these photos stand testament to, Hugh Downs has been wearing Rolex watches for at least a half-century!!!

Michael Strahan is a man who has lived an amazing life! Michael is a big man, as he stands 6 feet, 5 inches, and weighs 255 Pounds. Today, Michael Strahan is a media personality and he is famous for his role in the syndicated morning talk show, Live! with Kelly and Michael, which ran from 2012 to 2016. Michael won two Daytime Emmy Awards for that show He was also the host of The $100,000 Pyramid and has his own men's line of clothing. Today he is an analyst for Fox NFL Sunday, as well as co-hosting the ABC show, Strahan and Sara.

Michael Strahan wears multiple Rolex models, but the one he seems to wear the most is his DEEP-BLUE SEA-DWELLER, which is pictured on his wrist in the photos above and below.
