Ants Be Gone

A few weeks ago, Ann of SnapEditScrap posted her vase of Peonies and said they had so many ants on them she had to take them back outside. I told her a few drops of dish detergent in water and swish them around before bringing them in would remove the ants.
So Said Google-Girl!
I brought this flower in and dipped it in soapy water and all the ants were gone.
Down the drain in the sink to swim in the Muck.
The Hibiscus can lie on a dish, in a bowl, or stand in water.

It will dead the next day no matter which you do.
Enjoy the flowers while you may.
I think they look better on the bush, with the zillion little ants running around

Stop Buggin Me

Instead of just showing you the photo of the new sprayer I ordered, I fiddle with it a little. Can you guess what I am spraying by looking at the photo?
Can you guess what I am using to spray the bugs?

Down!
I put dawn dish detergent and water, and would have put red pepper sauce in it, but had none.

I found white stuff on the one surviving orange hibiscus and found White Aphids, everywhere, and they were on my newly planted Cassava Trees and the powder puff.

When Bob saw the gallon jug sprayer he said why didn't you get a BIG one?

The answer is, I wanted one I can use All by Myself.
I can carry it and pump it and NO HELP NEEDED.
It is working, except the rain keeps washing it off
But I have stopped their Advance for now.
the white stuff is gone from the leaves.
