We had a fantastic St. Patrick's Day! It was beautiful, sunny and warm. We hope YOU had a fantastic St. Patty's Day, as well. We ended the day with a home cooked traditional Irish meal cooked by Brent's parents! Delicious corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, fruit salad, and Irish Cream Cake. YUM!

Everyone but Nick felt the need to wear green.
(Shhh.....Grandma Morgan didn't have green on either!)

Kate had a few green stripes in her shirt!

Hope your day was great and full of 'happiness and green'!

What did you just say????

Let me give you a quick update... There is a romance budding in Ashlan's preschool class. That romance is between Ashlan and Jordan. The relationship has been growing throughout the school year. Let me give you a handful of conversations Ashlan has shared with me.

The first conversation...when I found out about this romance.

Ashlan: "Mommy, Jordan keeps asking me to marry him."

Me: "Is Jordan a little boy in your class"

Ashlan "Yes, he always wants to sit next to me and talk to me. He asks me to marry him all the time."

Me: "What do you say to him when he asks you that?"

Ashlan: "NOT A CHANCE!"

**Okay, at this point Brent and I were very proud that Ashlan stood up to him and said "Not a chance!"**

But weeks later, around dinnertime, Ashlan shares this with us...

Ashlan: "Mommy/Daddy, I told Jordan I was going to marry him"

Me: "You did? And what did Jordan say when you finally told him you would marry him?"

Ashlan: "He said, 'About time!'"

***Ohhhhh, was that funny!***

Okay, so we are driving home from school on Tuesday and Ashlan has something to share with me...

Ashlan: "Mommy, guess what?"

Me: "What?"

Ashlan: "I told Jordan that when we get older we can share wine together!"

** WHAT? OH MY! Wine? My 4 year old is already planning on sharing wine with a young man???? I really hope the teacher is not over-hearing my precious, innocent daughter talk about sharing wine with this young man... How embarrassing for Brent and I... **
This little budding romance has gone too far in my opinion!

It's simple...

I haven't posted too much lately. Brent and I have been recovering from ankle sprains and I've simply been downright lazy. As I picked up the computer this afternoon, I thought about posting a blog. But about what? Not too much excitement happening around here (which may be a good thing). Kate continues with Karate, Nick continues with a hectic Lacrosse schedule, and Ashlan continues being the little comedian that she is. Life is good. Which leads me to my post today....

I love my husband. It's that simple. It's not one of those things where I feel I don't tell him enough. I tell him several times a day...he knows he is loved! And I know that I am loved. I think the feeling of knowing you are 'loved' is the best feeling ever! And that's my post for the day.
I love my husband. Gosh, I love my husband!
