Pedicures

The Morgan girls love to get AND give pedicures! We always have a fun time pampering each other!

It was Ashlan's turn to pamper Kate!

Ashlan gets so excited to paint toes....she gets a little messy though! Poor Kate asked me to redo her toenails after Ashlan left the room!

What a great time we had!

Stomp Rocket

Kate got this Stomp Rocket for her birthday this month. We just got around to opening it today. It's quite fun!

The wind was crazy strong today so it made for a much more fun time outside!

Even Brent had fun trying to see how high he could stomp the rocket into the air!

The activity ended with Brent trying to get 4 rockets out of the tree! HA!

Bye, Bye Chopper

Brent bought the most gorgeous Chopper a couple of years ago. He already had two motorcycles, Harley's, but he really wanted a Chopper. So we went together and found a beautiful blue chopper for him. He had some work done to it, like changed out the pipes, added lots of chrome, etc. That bike was just gorgeous and oh...LOUD!

But as time went on and he tried to drive the bike, it just didn't feel right. Brent was uncomfortable on it, mainly because the front wheel was so rigged out. It was hard for him to control. Therefore, the bike sat in the garage month after month after month.

So he came to the decision two weeks ago to sell it. And that is all it took... It sold in two weeks for our full asking price! Awesome!

It was a bittersweet goodbye. The bike was just gorgeous.

One last drive before he said goodbye!

Going to surely miss that beauty - but to see the new owner drive off on the bike with a big smile on his face was awesome!

Bye, Chopper!

Monkey Bar

Ashlan shared her desire with us this weekend to conquer the monkey bars on the playground at school. Sunday was a beautiful day, so it was perfect for a park visit. We spent over an hour trying to conquer those monkey bars. Her poor hands were blistered after several attempts, and she never quite made it all the way across the bars.....BUT she made it HALF-WAY and that was a celebration in itself!
We will continue to make daily park visits until she has conquered those monkey bars!!!

On our way to the park!

She made multiple attempts and was so determined...
*She has her father's determination*

Doing so well......

Then....
Down she goes...

Ashlan was getting extremely frustrated at herself.....so to make her laugh and lighten up a little, Brent and I decided to get silly on the monkey bars...

Here's to hoping this week brings some success to Ashlan on the monkey bars!!!

I want this!

I just had a neighborhood party this past week where I had card holders next to each platter displaying the name of the dish....While that worked well........

.....wouldn't this be even cooler!

It's chalk cloth used as a runner.

Check out Celebrations at Home blog page for her Chalk Cloth ideas!

Weekend Get-Away

We spent the weekend with some of our best friends in a cabin in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Yes, it was freezing cold, but we still managed to enjoy campfires, smore's, hiking, and the kids enjoyed hot tubbing.

Back to Blogging

Where did 2009 go? That might have been the faster year I've ever experienced! Granted it did go by fast - we do have a lot of memories from 2009 that our family will cherish forever!
