More Leaves!

You know I also wonder why Mom and Dad work so hard with these leaves when they do it over and over every year. Mom says there is one creepy crawler that likes to live in leaves that freak her out. TICKS. She hates them. I had to have some taken off me a time or two. Put you know what? Some of the trees still have about a fourth of the leaves still on them, which is weird, cause this time of year they should be completely off. Mom is optimistic though, she says at least the majority of them are all burned. Mom promised me we could go visiting a lot more now that most of the work is done.

Mom wants to Thank every one very much for the good wishes that everyone has sent her for her birthday. She got to go to her favorite mexican restaurant on her birthday. The have something called a burrito relleno that she loves. Mmmm she says. There is so much of it she gets to eat leftovers for her lunch the next day. Now, when do I get my mmmmm treats??

Helping???

I'm helping Mom. I'm laying here so she doesn't have to rake these leaves up. Mom and Dad have been playing with the leaves for three days now. They are hoping for one more real good day tomorrow so they can burn them. A storm is suppose to come in on Friday, so the weatherman says?? Mom worked hard today, I think she is working up an appetite for her birthday dinner tonight. Randy and Mary are taking her out. That's good, just so she doesn't forget to give us our temptations before she goes.

Neighbor's Dog Shadow

Do you remember the picture where Gizmo, Cleo and Casper were sittining in the door and didn't really want to go out? (Nov. 6th) This is the reason why. This is Shadow our neighbor's dog and she gets out once in awhile. Looks like she has been having fun wandering around as she is dirty. Anyhow the cats would just rather wait until she goes home before going outside. Shadow is part wolf and part husky. She sure has a lot of energy, sure wish I could tap some of it. Her Mom does too.
