Daughter Bean too!

Daughter Bean

Daughter Bean has not been wearing her head

cover and Mom loves the way her hair is growing

in and daughter bean consented to have her

picture taken. She had the port taken out

this past Monday. She is now trying to catch

up on her rest. She still is having reactions from

chemo and radiation but is doing well as can be

expected. Mom is so grateful for all the

prayers so she can see daughter bean smiling

as she is in this picture. Thank You.

The Christ Child

So it was, when the angels had gone away

Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus

Santa and Mrs. Claus is having a little respite

before his big night tonight. Elves are packing

the sleigh so Santa thought he would take a

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

Mom thought you would like to

know that when she got home

Saturday night her little tree was

still standing on the table. We

were good kitties.

No Casper it isn't, sure wish it

Christmas Store in Frankenmuth

Michigan. It is open all year round.

Angel of the Lord

An Angel of the Lord appeared to him

Christmas Tree

Will there be a repeat performance??

Tomorrow Mom and Dad are going

to a potluck Christmas party here

in the mobile home park in the after-

noon. In the evening they are taking

Son Bean out for his birthday dinner.

Will the tree be standing when they

get home????

Napping Cleo

Cleo is oblivious to the world. Even the flashy

thing went off, didn't disturb her one bit.

Wonder what she is dreaming about???

Who Did It????

Mom put up a fiber optic Christmas tree on a

table in front of one of the front windows. It's

Smaller than the regular tree she usually puts

up. She thought nothing would happen to the

tree higher up on the table. Well, she had

another think coming. When she got home

after her Birthday dinner last night the table

was turned over and the tree was on the floor.

She knows that Miss Patches did not do it.

Was it Cleo??? She was acting pretty

crazy last night after they got

home, running around.

Was it me???? I think I look innocent enough. Unfortunately Mom will never find out.

Trying to Nap

Mom, I would really appreciate if you wouldn't

disturb my nap. I know you aren't using the

flashy thing but I am aware of you looking at

me so close.

Give Thanks

Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name;

When I was writing this I thought

this sure sounds familiar. It is

also Psalm 105: 1-5 which I have

quoted before. I was going to

change it but decided to let it

stand because it is giving Thanks

in honor of Thanksgiving.

I have written each

scripture down in a book that

I have quoted here on this blog so I wouldn't repeat myself. I

have repeated only twice since

I have started doing scripture

in the three years or so I have

been doing it. There are many

good tidbits in the Bible.

Honoring Ann and Zoolatry

Ann has done so much for all of us on the

Catblogosphere with her generosity and

the beautiful and great pictures that she

has made for all of us. She and her family

need a whole lot of purrs and prayers for

her Mom and her husband who has had

a recurrance of his colon cancer. All of

you have been so great with your purrs

and prayers for our daughter bean who

has been doing great because of them.

So please, let us all bond together with our

purrs and prayers for Ann and her

family.

and endurance to do what you have to do.

Two peas in a pod. At least they are keeping

each other warm.

Spoiled Cat and Update

Mom is so nice to me. When she changes her

bed. She picks me up pad and all and puts

me on my chair.

Then when she gets done, she is so nice to

put me back on the bed.

Yep Casper, everyone knows you are a

really spoiled cat.

UPDATE

Daughter bean is still doing really great. She

has three more weeks of radiation, then on

Tamoxifen for five years. Her hair is starting

to grow back. We are so thankful for all the

prayers because I know that is what has really

helped her. She had a CT and PET scan and

the oncologist said it was good, no more

groweth. Although it didn't show if

cancer was still there or not. But he seamed

happy with the results. So that makes me

optimistic. I guess more will tell over time. She sees the doctor who did the surgery

this Thursday. If he has a copy of the CT

scan maybe we can get more out of him

than the oncologist. He seems to be more

informative and he is easier to ask questions.

Encourage One Another

Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope

we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his

promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one

another to acts of love and good works. And let

us not neglect our meeting together, as some

people do, but encourage one another, especially

now that the day of His return is drawing

near.

Glory Is His Name

Cleo in a Bag

Hey, thanks Mom. You haven't brought

one of these bags home in a long time to

play with. I'm not afraid of these bags

just the plastic ones.

Sorry about the Water

Mom didn't notice that all the water was

gone from our bowl so we had to tell her

we were thirsty. After she got the water

in the bowl we were to thirsty to wait so

we drank together. We shared the water.

Mom went to the Vet today to pay off the bill.

She says now Gizmo and her can rest in

peace. Anyhow when she was there

there was this old man in a wheelchair

and he had an old little dog in his arms.

Mom said the dog looked like it was

in distress. After she left, she went to

the car and cried her eyes out as she

knew how much that little dog meant

to him and if he had to put the little

dog down he would be devastated.

Purrs and Prayers for him and his

little dog.

Masquerading Apostles

workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ.

Happy Halloween

I was a good boy and let Mom put this

thing on me. But I guess it was O.K. as

it is a way to wish all of you a Happy

Halloween

Mom put this on Cleo and she went and hid

under the bed and Mom could hardly get

her out. In fact she didn't get her out but

she some how managed to get this off her

with a back scratcher. Mom was amazed

she got it off that way. Mom was afraid

to put her hand under there with Cleo's

claws. Anyhow things are back to normal

now.

Only bad thing about this, it's kind of hard

to take a bath.

Laser Eyed Cleo

Since Casper is off to Missy Blue Eyes place

Cleo gets a chance to be on a post. I already

mentioned she really likes to use the cat tree

as a scratching post

Creation

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.

Thinking Thursday

Casper is sitting on the cat tree looking

out the window. Looks like something

has caught his attention. A goose?

A duck? A bird? Didn't get up to look.

Cleo loves to use this as a scratch

post. Got to get a picture of her

using it as such.

Daughter Bean Update

Casper here with Daughter bean

up date: Mom went with her to two

doctor appointments today. One

to the Radiologist and to the on-

cologist. The radiologist has set

up her first appointment for radiology

on October 19th. She is to go five

days a week for six and a half weeks.

Oncologist told bean to go to Ob-Gyn

doctor for a pap smear and also told her

she would have to take a medication

for five years. Mom can't think of the

name of it right now. Starts with a T.

Daughter bean is doing well but all this

has put her into menopause which she

is not enjoying. She is hoping her hair

will grow in now though.

Your prayers have definitely helped her

through all of this. Thank You

Heaven and Earth Belong to God

Heaven is my throne, and the earth is

my footstool. Could you build me a temple

as good as that? Could you build me such

a resting place? My hands have made

heaven and earth; they and everything

Two Fawns

Mom was so excited the other morning when

she saw these fawns that she almost missed

the picture. As you can see one deer is making

a get away, the other one dashed right after.

Mom was disappointed that she didn't see

their Mom around and hoped that nothing

happened to her.

This was a regular sight where we used to live.

I got a package from my Missy Blue Eyes

Oooh, I wonder what it is???

Thank you so very much Missy. This is so

thoughtful of you. Oh wow, it's a gizzy quilt. Darling Millie's Mom makes them. Missy Blue Eyes says it is in honor of our blue eyes. Oh, this is so pretty and comfy. Feels good laying on it. I can even give myself a bath on it. Guess I'd better keep my paws clean so I won't get it dirty. That's right Cleo, you keep your paws clean too. Just remember this is my special gift but you can lay on it too.

Great Date

Missy Blue Eyes and I had one great time

last night dancing the night away. Mom

let Missy wear the necklace that Mom Mary

Lynn gave to my mom and it looked so pretty

on Missy. It was so romantic being on the

ship dining and dancing and just being with

Missy Blue Eyes. Missy is resting here.

Guess I danced her paws off. Sorry Missy.
