Playful Casper

Here I am playing with my ball. It's the
one I got in my secret paws package
Look how fast I am running after
my ball. I'm nothing but a blur.
Ooops, looks like Patches wants to get
into the action. Actually she just
sniffed the ball and turned around and
went back down the hall.
UPDATE=
Here's an update on daughter bean. She
had her very first chemotherapy today.
She came through it fine. It was an
experience for Mom too. They gave her
meds to calm her and keep her from getting
sick and she made it home without barfing.
Wish I could say that: I barfed today. Daughter bean saw all the comments on
Mom's site for her and she says Thank
You all so much for all the purrs

Salvation

Show us your unfailing love, O Lord, and
grant us your salvation. I will listen to the
what the Lord God will say: He promises
peace to his people, his saints-but let them
not return to folly. Surely his salvation is
near those who fear Him, that His glory
may dwell in our land.

In Honor of Daughter Bean

We were honored to have Ann at
Zoolatry to make this picture in honor
of Daughter bean and our family. We
are so grateful for your purrs and prayers.
Daughter bean's surgery to put the port in
went very well today. She has her first
chemotherapy on Monday. Daughter bean
asked Mom this morning if it would be
against God's law if she just let the
disease take her. Mom told her that
was a good question, but in Mom's heart
yes, it would be against God's law if she
did. Aw, come on Mom don't cry now.
You stuck it out pretty good today.

We got our Human Back

Hooray, Mom said she is feeling like a human
again. She said today is the first day she
has felt good. Gosh I was beginning to
wonder about her. I still don't know though,
look at the picture she
chose to post. Gosh I wonder if she is getting
better or not. Where is one of ME. You do
notice the cat food she gave it to get it's picture
don't you?? She said she has never seen a
goose with a red face and beak like this.
&
Daughter bean will be getting what you
call the port put in this Friday and Chemo
will probably start sometime next week.
Mom says with all the support that all of
you have given her and Daughter bean, things
are going to be O.K. Thank you so so much.
Daughter bean's boyfriend is back and I think
he is going to be able to help Mom in the support
of Daughter bean and her appointments.

Spirit of God

Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entererd into the heart
of man the things which God has
prepared for those who love Him.
But God has revealed them to us
through His Spirit. For the Spirit
searches all things, yes, the deep
things of God. For what man knows
the things of a man except the spirit
of the man which is in him? Even so
no one knows the things of God except
the Spirit of God. Now we have recieved,
not the spirit of the world, but the
Spirit who is from God, that we might
know things that have been freely
given to us by God.
NKJV 1st Corinthians 2: 9-12

Casper and Cleo

Something sure has Casper's and
Cleo's attention.
UPDATE
Daughter bean went to the doctor
week ago Wednesday and was
coughing and blowing her nose and
wasn't feeling good at all. Well in the
mean time Mom bean has gotten it, so
both have been sickies. Chemo has been
postponed for Daughter bean until further
notice. Both have been put on anti-biotics
to get well. Daughter bean sounds pretty
good now but Mom is having a hard time
coming back.
Thank you all so very much for all the purrs
and prayers you have been sending
us. It is so much appreciated. All of
you out there in the Catblogosphere
are so great. Mom wants to visit
each and everyone of you who
made comments as soon as
she can.
Thank You Again

Our Risen Lord

Mary stood outside by the tomb
weeping, and as she wept she stooped
down and looked into the tomb. And she
saw two angels in white sitting, one at the
head and the other at the feet where
the body of Jesus had lain. Then they said
to her, "Woman why are you weeping?"
She said to them, "Because they have
taken away my Lord, and I do not know
where they have laid Him." Now when
she had said this, she turned around and
saw Jesus standing there and did not know
it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, "Woman why
are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?"
She supposing was the gardner, said to Him,
"Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me
where You have laid Him, and I will take
Him away." Jesus said to her, "Mary." She
turned and said to Him "Rabbioni". (Teacher)

Update

Hi Casper here with an update on
daughter bean. She had a bone density scan
last Friday and it came out O.K. Bone
stucture is good. Monday she had a
Pet scan and CT scan. Hmm, wonder
if it had anything to do with a VET.
Her heart is good, but found a cyst on
her ovary. One enlarged lymph node under her
left armpit and enlarged lung lymph nodes. She will
start chemotherapy this coming Thursday.
Gizmo is doing a lot better and making Mom
happy by eating fairly decent. Me I'm
just being a good pussy cat to help Mom.

Judgement and Discernment

My son, preserve sound judgement and
discernment, do not let them out of your
sight, they will be life for you, an ornament
to grace your neck. Then you will go on yourway
in safety, and your foot will not stumble,
when you lie down, you will not be afraid,
when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin
of the wicked, for the Lord will be your
confidence and will keep your foot from
being snared.
NIV Proverbs 3: 21-26

Casper's Twin

Mom wants to say sorry that she
hasn't posted lately or visited much
and it will be like that for awhile.
Last week she found out her daughter
bean has breast cancer. Daughter bean
has been having tests to find out what
kind of chemotherapy treatment that
she will be getting. She has another
big test next Monday. Mom has been
going with her to her doctor appoint-
ments and tests. The doctors want
to try and shrink the lump before they
operate. So Mom has been running
a lot and complains that she is tired.
Also Mom thought somethingwas wrong
with Gizmo and took him to the
vet cause he wasn't eating well and barfing
water like and white stuff. He had blood
work done and he was O.K. Mom put him
on stinky goodness instead of the dry food.
He is doing better. She even bought him
baby food. I think he just wants more
attention than he is getting.
