The Guardian of Our Souls

He never sinned, nor ever deceived anyone. He did not retaliate when He was insulted, nor threatened revenge when He suffered. He left His case in the hands of God, who always judges fairly. He personally carried our sins in His body on the cross so we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By His wounds you are healed. Once you were like sheep who wandered away. But now you have turned to your Shepherd, the Guardian of your souls.

Turkey Turkey

Wow, that turkey looks good. Had my own chair

at the dinner table this year. It sure was good,

Mom gave me some and so did daughter bean.

It was so mmmmmmmm!

Then they had the audacity to take that yummy

platter away from me. They said I was getting

to much. Never can get to much!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

I am thankful for the food that has been put on my table.

I am thankful for the sun and rain.

I am thankful for the trees and flowers.

I am thankful for the animals and birds.

I am thankful for my husband and children.

I am thankful for my friends far and wide.

I am thankful for the roof that is over my head.

But most of all I am thankful for my lord Jesus Christ

who died and was resurrected to give you and I eternal life.

Wordless Wednesday

Rejoicing in the Lord

May the glory of the Lord endure forever;

may the Lord rejoice in his works- He

who looks at the earth, and it trembles,

who touches the mountains, and they smoke.

praise to my God as long as I live. May my

meditation be pleasing to Him, as I rejoice

Moon Marks Off the Seasons

The moon marks off the seasons, and the sun knows

when to go down. You bring darkness, it becomes

night, and all the beasts of the forest prowl. The

lions roar for their prey and seek their food from

God. The sun rises, and they steal away; they return

and lie down in their dens. Then, man goes out to his

work, to his labor until evening.

Mountain Springs Make Rivers

Praise the Lord, O My soul:

You make springs pour water into the ravines,

so streams gush down from the mountains.

They provide water for all the animals, and

the wild donkeys quench their thirst. The birds

nest beside the streams and sing among the

branches of the trees. You send rain on the

mountains from your heavenly home, and

you fill the earth with the fruit of your

labor.
