Monday morning water started gushing out
into the river from the creek. And this is
what it looked like. The big storm came
in later that day and the wind was terrible.
Sounded like we were being clobbered by a
demolition team it was so loud. We didn't
get much sleep Monday night because of the
wind and rain, but that was the worst of it. The
demolition team didn't do any damage.

This is what it looks like today. The third
storm is passing through now. The creek is
pumping nothing but muddy water into the
river, plus branches, tree limbs, somebody's
trash can and so on. Must be really raining
in the mountains.

The river is in a real turmoil with gushing
water and wind. The next storm is suppose
to be a pussy cat. Whatever that means. Mom
says it means it isn't suppose to be as bad as the
other storms. The worst is suppose to be
over. There is no expectation of flooding of
the river. Yep, we are keeping an eye on
it anyway.

Patches and I are just slumbering together,
taking naps. Cleo is sleeping in the play
tent.
