Merry Christmas One And All

Mom and I would like to wish everyone, one of the

best Christmas's and a Great New Year. 

Mom and I had a Christmas miracle.  We almost

lost our Dad human.  He was taken to the hospital

on December 8th in a fatal heart rythm and transfered

to another hospital where his cardiologist practices. 

He had a pacemaker put in and is doing much better. 

He is slowly getting his strength back.

May you all have many blessings in the coming year.

Very Sad News

This is such sad news.  She was much loved by

everyone on the cat blogosphere.  My Prayers for

her family.  There is nothing anyone can say at

a time like this.  She is sleeping until the second

coming of Christ.  God Bless Her Family.  Judi

Forever Herman

I was sadden to hear about Karen Jo's ManCat Herman's passing.  My prayers to her.  She was one of the original ones of way back with her Kitty Limericks blog.  She made limericks for my kitties and I still have them.  Thank You Karen Jo.

I was playing a game on my computer when

I noticed Cleo watching TV.  There was a

guy moving his hands while he was talking and
she was watching him.  He held her attention

for quite awhile.

First off, I would like to Thank You very much for

wishing me a Happy Blogoversary.  I forgot all

about it.  It's been kind of hard going to my blog lately.

Guess I should get back to it and change it

a bit.  I was told a few nights ago that the cross

on Caspers site is still standing.  I was really surprised.

I was sure it would have been blown away by the

wind storm we had right after I had to put Casper

down.  Gosh it was only made out of paint stirring

sticks.

The picture above is the clan of five baby geese.

They are almost as big as the regular geese now.

Won't be long until you won't be able to tell them apart.

It has been fun watching them grow.

My neighbor's nephew gave permission

for him to be buried out in his orchard

for which I am so truly grateful.

THE CAPTAIN IS GONE

THE CAPTAIN IS GONE

I had to put Captain Casper down this

afternoon as he had a fast growing

cancer of the bone inside his mouth. 

He was trying hard to eat and what

Vet Sandy showed me after he was put

down it was a wonder he could eat at all.

She showed me there were tumors all

under his tongue.  I don't think that the

time he quit eating the time before had

anything to do with this, but Vet Sandy

wasn't saying anything about that as he

was looked at and tested at that time

and nothing was discovered then like

now.  It is very hard on me at this time

as ALL of YOU know this kind of pain.

Right now I am numb, my Sweet Baby

Boy is gone.
And of all days to go, today is
our 52nd Anniversary.  One
Anniversary I will never forget.

UPDATE

Oh what a blessing to have all you friends and condolences.  It does help to know so many care.
It is just so sad that all of us that have pets when we go through this kind of sadness.  Thank you all
so much.

Sunday is such a great day for napping.  Hoping that

We have some new additions to our neighborhood.

A Swarm of Bees

 A few weeks ago we noticed this big brown

thingy hanging in one of the pine trees behind

our neighbor's house.  Mom said "Wow look at

all those bees."  She got as close as she could

to take the pictures.  She sure didn't want to

disturb them.

 The park management got a hold of someone to ask

what to do with all the bees.  They sent out a bee

keeper and he put a white box out on the lawn.

And believe it or not all those bees congregated in that

little white box.  The bee keeper left it there for almost

a week waiting for the bees to go in there, and he fed them

sugar water too.  There was a queen bee in the swarm. 

The bee keeper picked up the white box the other day and

took them home.  It sure turned out great for us and

the bee keeper cause he has a new hive hopefully

to make good honey.

A Guest

Whoa, wonder why Cleo has flattened her ears.

Oh, we have a visitor at our door. Spot is checking us out. Wonder why Cleo flattened her ears seeing him. She knows him. Guess she just doesn't like any other cat invading her space even though he is outside.

Wisdom

This time of year is the time I get the most beautiful

pictures of sunrises. They may look a lot alike but they

aren't. This picture was taken yesterday morning.

I don't think you can tell but there was very fine

fog mist over the river.
