Last Post for Awhile

This will be our last post for awhile. We

are moving tomorrow and we don't know

when we will be back online again. Mom

took some pictures from the deck of our new

home awhile back when they visited the

person who was living there. The first picture

is what we see straight out from the sliding

glass door and the second picture was taken

toward the right from where Mom was

standing. The last two Saturday posts

were taken from where we live now. Mom

says she is going to miss all her trees, deer,

squirrels, foxes, raccoons and the turkeys.

At least she has one big tree to look at, at the

new place. There are more in the park by us.

We know that there are ducks and geese near

the river, but whatever else, we don't

know. The manager of the park says we

have to look out for rattlesnakes because

of the water, but heck, we have rattlesnakes

here too. Well, everyone take care. God Bless.

UPDATE

Hi everyone, I am at the library using their computer. I am hoping

I will be online at the end of next week. Been a lot of hassle moving

30 years of stuff, but it's coming along. We have been having a lot

of work done inside of the house and I didn't want to set up my

computer until the dust dies down. Thank you all for the great

comments. I miss you ALL very much.

The cats came through the move just

great. Patches was the last one to come around but she's back to

normal now. Loa, I followed your advice and it worked. Thank you.

Yes, these pictures are from our new place. ML, I have been

praying for your safety and all your loved ones around you.

Actually, I have been praying for Houston and Galveston.

Looks like Florida is in danger also, prayers for you too.

Great Mercy

Casper and Cleo

Yea, we finally got to post. Mom has been so

busy packing all kinds of boxes. She took a

break today went to town this morning with Dad

and did laundry. She said we were moving. I

don't know if I'm going to like that or not. The

movers are coming on August 25th. She's hoping

she will be done by then. Sorry we haven't

been visiting very much. This is Cleo

and I taking a break too. We get exhausted

watching Mom.

I think I let a moth in the house when I had

the back door open. It might have flew

behind there. Only thing is, when I looked

all I saw was fuzz bunnies and cat hair

back there. Although you have better

eyes than I have.

A Memorial for Zebulin

His life was way to short. He was

one of the original kitties when Mom

started blogging two years ago. We

are so very sorry for Darcy and Brook

We pray that God will be with them

in their time of grief. Purrs and

Prayers going up for them.

A Gift

Mom brought home a gift for us. A new

scratcher with catnip rubbed in it. This is

Cleo checking it out. Mom needs to take a

picture of me with it. I love to push it around

and rub on it. Mom says I have been a little

more chipper lately, she guesses it's the

catnip. She is Right.

Cleo Got Out

Cleo was a bad girl night before last. Guess

you could say Mom was too. She got out and

spent the night outside. Mom was trying to

keep an eye on her when she was bringing

in her flowers, (Some varmint is eating them

again) and Cleo just scritched on out. Mom

grabbed her but couldn't keep a hold on her.

Mom went out and called her but she wouldn't

come, so Mom said she was going to go to

bed and leave her out there, and she did.

But, she said a prayer for Cleo that God would

watch over her. The next morning she was

standing on the back porch waiting to be let in.

The last few nights Mom makes sure Cleo is in the

bedroom and shuts the door so she can't get out

again when she takes out and brings in the flowers.

Cleo has been keeping a low profile. Mom picked

her up and gave her some loving later in the morning

I wonder what happened on her night out???

Sorry

Sorry we haven't been posting or visiting

very much. Mom and Dad are trying to

find a place to move. They finally got an

offer on the house that they were asking for.

Mom said she is worried about us cats

cause all we have known is this place. She

says she will probably use a lot of Feliway,

what ever that is. I think it is going

to be hard on Mom and Dad too, cause

they have been living here for thirty years.

Dad has a hard time keeping this place up and

Mom does the best she can to help but it is

getting harder. We will try to visit when

we can. Thank you for being patient and

all your really neat comments. We

appreciate them so much.

Need Rest

We want to Thank everyone for the kind

Happy Birthday wishes. It was great to

hear from everyone of you. Mom is

hoping that we can visit everyone soon.

But right now I need rest after all the

hoopla.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

When I brought Cleo and Casper into our

home it was in September, so I calculated

that they were born in July sometime since

I figured they were about two months old at

the time. When I brought Casper home

on time off when we were Motel Managers,

our daughter Lori was living in our home at the

time and had a kitten at the same time which was

Gizmo. So I include him in the July birthday date.

The only one I am not certain of is Patches

Seems to me she was here at that time also as

a kitten, but my daughter said she came later.

So no matter, I am including her birthday in

at the same time. Casper, Gizmo and Patches

are fourteen years old this month and Cleo

is three years old.

I want to thank Ann at Zoolatry so very

very much for this beautiful Birthday

picture so did for us.

Oh by the way another celebration!

I started blogging two years ago on July

9th 2006. This month is full of Birthdays,

my husband, my daughter-

in-law, four very good friends and

my brother.

Sad Time

Too many loved ones passing. Forest,

Margaret's daughter Lisa and the last

I heard Mu Shue was expected to pass.

Also many sick kitties and people. Purrs
