⇨ Japanese
A bipedal Ceratopsian Digimon with the appearance of the Triceratops, whose offensive ability competes for first or second among herbivorous dinosaur types. The sturdiness of its skin is top class among organic Digimon. The two horns growing from its brow are super-sturdy, just like its skin, and are far harder than that of Monochromon. It normally has a gentle personality. However, its ordinarily sluggish movements belie the offensive power of its charging attacks, which are capable of obliterating even the sturdy-bodied Mineral-species Digimon. Its Special Move is charging at the opponent with the two horns on its brow and the horn on its snout (Tri-Horn Attack).

Digimon Adventure 02[edit]

A wild Triceramon appears in the Real World in "Everyone Advance Out! Imperialdramon", along with a Dark Tower, and rampages in Tamachi, the Tokyo neighborhood where Ichijouji Ken lives. After destroying the Dark Tower to allow their partners to evolve, Ken and Motomiya Daisuke's Paildramon fights it, but he is overwhelmed when Mummymon interferes and cannot fight both at once. However, in the middle of the battle Paildramon receives the power of Qinglongmon's Digicore and evolves to his Ultimate form, Imperialdramon: Dragon Mode, who grabs Triceramon with his right hind foot so Daisuke and Ken can send it back to the Digital World.

In "The Gathering of the Legendary Heroes! The Digimon All-star Showdown!!", Ryouma DigiXrossed them again to fight Tagiru and Gumdramon for the right to represent the Digimon Hunters.

Digimon Adventure tri.[edit]

A Triceramon is the Partner Digimon of one of the five original Chosen Children. It appears with its partner in a flashback in "Loss", where along with the other original Chosen Children's partner Digimon, it evolves to one of the Four Holy Beasts to fight the Dark Masters.

Voice Actor: Japanese Sakamoto Chika (Partner Kemonogami)

Triceramon is the Partner Kemonogami of Momotsuka Takuma. Outside of the Truth route, after Wendimon starts talking with Kayama Shuuji's voice about how he shouldn't exist, the group realizes that they are to blame for Shuuji breaking down, as they put the pressure of being a leader on him due to his age without realizing how it affected him. Agumon and Takuma decide to save Shuuji and Lopmon themselves, and Takuma realizes he wanted power to be able to challenge his feelings and anger. In the Truth route, Takuma is motivated by Shuuji's growth and Lopmon's evolution, realizing that the desires to save and protect overlapped and turned into power, and also wants to make Archnemon pay for what she did to Shuuji. In either case, this triggers the evolution of Agumon into his Perfect form (Metal Greymon, Triceramon or Megadramon, depending on Takuma's Karma Meter).

Triceramon is also a playable Kemonogami which can be obtained as both a Partner and a Free Kemonogami. It's a Defense-type, Harmony (Data)-attribute, Perfect-level Kemonogami. Its unnamed Attack is a straight punch (150 power, 0 SP, deals Earth damage to target) and its special attack is Tri-Horn Attack (250 power, 45 SP, deals Earth physical damage to target with a moderate chance of knocking them back one square and putting them to sleep). Its Passive Skill is Robust Armour (Raises PHYS DEF and SP DEF one rank and recovers HP at the start of the turn). Triceramon's evolutions differ depending on whether it is the Partner Triceramon or a Free Triceramon:
