This 1985 Honda XL125S is said to have been acquired from the family of its original owner by the selling dealer in August 2020. Power is from a 124cc four-stroke single mated to a six-speed transmission, and the bike is finished in red over a matching frame. Additional features include street lighting and equipment, CDI ignition, dual rear shocks, and a leading-axle fork. The tires, battery, spark plug, turn signals, and carburetor were replaced in preparation for the sale, while adjustments were made to the external drum brakes, valve clearances, and clutch. This XL125S is offered at no reserve in Wisconsin with original documentation, a tool kit, an owner’s manual, take-off parts, and a clean Illinois title.
The frame, fenders, and fuel tank are finished in red. The selling dealer notes a ding on the left side of the tank. Street equipment consists of a headlight and taillight, replacement replica turn signals, mirrors, and a license plate mounting bracket.
Chrome wire-spoke wheels were mounted with 2.75-21 front and 4.10-18 rear on/off-road Golden Boy tires in preparation for the sale. Suspension consists of a leading-axle conventional fork and dual rear shocks mounted to a color-matched swingarm. Braking is from external drums at both ends, which have been adjusted by the selling dealer.
Black handlebars feature a center cross-brace as well as controls for the horn, lights, and turn signals on the left and the ignition on the right. Instrumentation consists of an 85-mph speedometer with recommended shift points and a five-digit odometer showing 4k miles as well as indicators for the high beam, turn signals, and neutral.
The air-cooled 124cc four-stroke single produced 13 horsepower when new and features CDI electronic ignition. A new battery, carburetor, and spark plug have been fitted by the selling dealer, who also adjusted the clutch and valve clearances. Power is transferred to the rear wheel through a six-speed transmission and a drive chain.
A narrated walk-around and start-up video can be viewed above. Purchase documentation, a tool kit, and an owner’s manual are included in the sale as well as the removed stock carburetor and turn signals.
