Jezebel's Billiard Hall is a sketchy yet popular bar located in New York.

Summary

Jezebel's is an old church renovated into a billiard's hall and bar. The place is run by a man named Hank and tended to by Infernus, who doubles as the bar's bouncer.^[1]

Jezebel's is described in The New York Oracle as a place where people can bet their souls over a game of pool.^[2]

Shortly before the events of the game take place, Jezebel's is under threat of getting shut down by the Alchemy Bureau due to a large number of infractions, including gambling souls without a license, distributing spirits from Ixia without a permit, and not having the Hex & Alchemy Bureau authorize a ward at the bar's entrance. Infernus and Hank are given 2 weeks to resolve the infractions.^[3]

Hank

Hank is a portly, middle-aged man who owns Jezebel's.^[4]^[5] He's worried about the bar's infractions and is willing to "make a deal with the devil himself" in order to save his bar.^[6]^[7]

The threat of Jezebel's being shut down and what it means for Hank is why Infernus is participating in the ritual.^[8]^[9] Since Infernus doesn't want Hank to worry about him, he hasn't told Hank about his involvement with the ritual.^[10]

Infernus mentions that Hank "saved his life".^[11] The implication seems to be that Hank helped Infernus move on from his criminal youth and turn over a new leaf as a bartender.^[12]

Hank is also implied to be friends with Celeste,^[10] Lady Geist,^[7] and Mo & Krill.^[13]

In one pathway in The Binding of Oathkeeper, Lady Geist pawns off Oathkeeper to Hank on the promise of getting Hank the resources needed to save Jezebel's.^[7]

McGinnis describes Jezebel's as "too fancy".^[14]
