Birthday braille

Every year I have to look up how to write happy birthday in braille.  Its for my cousin who is blind.  I learnt how to do braille years ago but you soon forget something that's not used regularly.

The image I've used is one from Bloobel called Birthday Cup Cake
I've coloured the image with Copics, leaving plenty of white space for a CAS design so I could put the braille and  some sequins to add some texture so my cousin would have something to feel on the card.

The sentiment was created at the time of printing.  I've doodled some biro borders and mounted it onto some Karft.

Bubble bath

October with Outlawz Sketch and Bloobel Stamps has been lost of Halloween fun!  This latest inspiration is using Hubble Bubble has been coloured with ProMarkers.  The edges of the image was distressed with antique linen ink from Tim Holtz before mounting onto some back card stock to frame it.
Here's our sketch for this week

I flipped mine round and instead of using ribbon I used an icicle die from Marianne Craftables - but I used orange design paper and turned it upside down to look like flames.

Instead of flowers I used a wood chip sentiment which I though went perfectly with the image.  I coloured it with ProMarker before sticking it to the card.

The design papers were all from Joy Crafts and the only other embellishment I used were a couple of black gems.

Hope you like my inspiration and hope to see you at the challenge

Snappy

This is a card I've made for my cousin's birthday.  I though she's like this quirky image from Bloobel Stamps called Venus Von Trap.
She's been coloured with ProMarkers.  I've then used some antique linen and vintage photo distress ink and finally added some embossing enamel

Design papers are from Lili of the Valley and First Edition.  My only embellishment for this card are a few golden gems to compliment the colour of the design paper

Blue Frosting

We're sponsored this month by Bloobel Stamps at Outlawz Sketch.

My last two inspiration card have been Halloween ones so this time I decided to use Birthday Cupcake for a change of theme.

He's been coloured with ProMarkers and a black polychromos pencil.  Cut out with a Spellbinders die I've then distressed the edges with Antique linen distress ink from Tim Holtz.

Here's our sketch for this week which I've flipped when I made my card.

Design paper are from Lili of the Valley, Maja Design and Joy Crafts.

The only embellishments are a sentiment coloured with ProMarkers and a few brown gems.

Potions

Witches tis the season for witches.  Lisa has asked us to do some Halloween creations over at Outlawz Sketch this month which she is sponsoring.  You can find The Tallest Hat in her Etsy Bloobel shop.
I've coloured this one with ProMarkers.  Around the image I've used a Halloween stamp (part of a Paperartsy set) giving the whole card a witches and potion theme.  Around the edges of the image I've used some Tim Holtz Milled Lavender distress ink.  It's been mounted onto some black card stock and I've added a couple of purple star stickers from Paperchase.

Here's our sketch for today

Design papers are from Out Daily Bread and Joy Crafts.  I've also used some more black card stock.  Along the bottom is a thin gingham ribbon which I got from Crafty Ribbons.

To complete the potion / witch theme I've added a flower and skull sticker from Paperchase and stamped a poison bottle onto some left over green paper.  This is again part of the Paperartsy set.

Hope you like my creation - see you at the challenge

Wyrd Sisters

Outlawz Sketch are being sponsored by Bloobel Stamps this month.  If you love quirky and funny stamps this is the place for you :D

I've used two on Lisa's images for my inspiration Cat in Her Hat and Cast a Spell.  I've gone for traditional Halloween colours using ProMarkers.

I made a card to honour Sir Terry Pratchett earlier in the week and I think he must have still been on my mind when I made this one - hence the Wyrd Sisters LOL!!

This our sketch which I stayed pretty close to this week.

Most of this card was done with orange and black card stock.  There is one small section of design paper from Craftwork Cards under the sentiment.

Embellishments are black gems, a glitter stick on bat which I got in Hobby Crafty a couple of years ago in the kids section hee hee....
I've also used some black ric rac ribbon and a couple of purple gems which I found in the jewellery section at Hobby Craft.

Hope to see you at the challenge

Rocket Man

Here's one I've made for my dad.  Guy cards are so hard to do but I think I did ok here.

I've used Rocket Man from Bloobel Stamps.

I've added a sentiment to him before printing him and then coloured it with Copics.  I've tried to give an impression of movement by the trails of grey to the left of the image.

The embellishments are metal charms I won from Though the Craft Room Door a long time ago.

To finish the card off I've just doodled a border :D
