GDT with Colour Crazy

Today I'm sharing something a little special, my first creation as a GDT at Colour Crazy Challenge :)

We've no sponsor this month so I've chosen to use For You from SheepSki Designs.  You can find it here in the shop.

The image has been coloured with Copics and then fussy cut.

We've lots of laters on this card with Design papers from 13Arts, First Edition and Joycrafts.

Added are a wooden floral embellishments, a few silver dragonfly charms, some gems and a sentiment coloured with Copics.

Hope you like my first GDT inspiration :)

Turtles! :)

So we have our new challenge starting today at Outlawz Sketch, with our wonderful sponsor Di's Digi Stamps!

I'm using Turtle Parade for my inspiration today.  The image has been coloured with Copics to create a single layer card!  When I printed the image I added a few more turtles to fit in with the sketch :)

Here's our sketch for the next two weeks.

I've done something really different with my card this time.  I usually add lots of layers and design papers. But when I saw the image and sketch it inspired my to make a single layered card!

So the moon is the circle and the extra turtles make up the flower border int he sketch.  There's also a tiny silver star charm instead of the ribbon.

Of course I've messed with it and added some embossing enamel, my favourite for starry night scenes.  Then there's the sentiment made up from Tim Hotlz Stickers.

Thanks for popping by today.  We hope to see you at the challenge

Quick Flump Card

The image has been coloured with Copics.  I didn't know what to do with it then and ended up fussy cutting it out.

The card consists of stacked layers of white card distressed with a Tonic solutions tool.

The one with the sentiment on has had embossing enamel sprinkled on then heated.  I've then added some tiny wooden hearts up the right hand side.

Finally I've added the little flump onto the top

Sometimes you just need a quick card ;)
Thanks for popping by for a look

Lil Flump Easel

The Challenge has just started at The Ribbon Girl for the October Anything Goes Challenge.  I'm sharing my card here - more details below.

The prize for the Challenge this month is.....

Prize:
£10 voucher from Polkadoodles

http://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/

2nd prize is a selection of products from The Ribbon Girl

Mary has used some of these production on her beautiful creation this month.

I've coloured the image with Copics and a white gel pen for the shine in the bauble.  The image has been distressed with Black Soot ink from Tim Holtz and I've sprinkled embossing enamel around the edges too.  Behind the image is a section of the papers cut with a Spellbinders die.

My design papers are a combination of UHK Gallery, First Edition, Maja Design and LemonCraft.

Here's a close up of the inside of the easel card.  The back section has labels cut with a Spellbinders die.  The front section has some Isabelle White lace and pearl string from The Ribbon Girl.  Full details of the products are at the bottom of the post.

I've actually got myself a bow tie tool now - yay makes it much easier.  The red ribbon has a snowflake and glitter button attached with some twine.  Towards the left of the card you can see some more of the twine, holly leaves, roses, daisy and along the bottom below the image is the Rosa Bianca Lace.

I finished the card off with a few pearls and a XOXO sentiment from Make It Crafty coloured with Copics.

Hope you like my inspiration for the challenge and we see you there

Getting Ready for Christmas

Uggg I was feeling so pants yesterday with a migraine headache that I didn't feel up to putting the words in here last night, so I just posted the images originally.

I'm feeling MUCH better today so here I am to tell you what I've done.

The images has been coloured with Copics, a black polychromos pencil and a white gel pen.  Around the image I've scattered some embossing enamel.

My design papers from Maya Design, First Edition and Studio Light have all been distressed with a Tonic Solutions tool.

To the right of the image you can see some banners cut with a La La Land die.  I've used the pink heart from this around the image and cut some more for the banner centres out of grey design paper.  Underneath the image in a piece of grey ribbon I got from Crafty Ribbons.

There's a laser cut Christmas tree which I got in Hobby Craft years ago (my last one).  I've added a few pink gems to this.  To finish off there are a few pearls and a wood chip Christmas sentiment.

Hope you like my non traditional coloured card for the theme
See you at the challenge :)

Flump Cake

It's been a while since I did a flump and this one is a real cutie from Drawn by Krista our sponsor at Outlawz Sketch for July.

Elephant Holding Cup Cake had been coloured with Copics and polychromos pencils.
I've used two Spellbinders dies to cut the circles

Here's our sketch for today

The design papers I've used are from First Edition, Maja Design and Joy Craft

The middle spotty section is a piece of organza ribbon from Crafty Ribbons. I've added a happy birthday sentiment and a few gems to complete the card.

Hope we see you at the challenge

Birthday balloons

Yes here I am again telling you all I'm sponsoring Outlawz Sketch - that's because I'm the sponsor for the whole of August :D

You can find all my images in my shop on Etsy SheepSki Designs - click here

I've used Flump n Tic for my inspiration today, coloured with Copics, ProMarkers and polychromos pencils.  You should be able to see from this first picture that I've sketched some clouds into the background too.
This is our sketch for today

I've flipped the sketch and instead of using some ribbon I've drawn some more balloons.  These I coloured in pink to match with the theme of the rest of the card - hopefully making the single blue balloon pop!

The edges of the image were treated with some Milled Lavender ink from Tim Holtz before mounting it onto some black card stock.

The birthday sentiment is a Spellbinders die and I've used a couple of black gems

Design paper are from Maja Design.

And that ladies and gents is it :D
Hopefully see you over at the challenge.  AND if you want to call in at my Facebook group click here!

Flump n Tic

So I've finally had chance to colour up Flump n Tic available on Etsy from SheepSki Designs and coloured up she's even more of a cutie!  She's also turned out a bit Dumbo with the large ears :D

I've used ProMarkers, Copics and polychromos pencils, she's then be cut out with a Spellbinders die and edged with pink ProMarkers.

The distressed design papers are from First Edition and Joy Crafts.  Behind the image you can see a Little Darlings die cut using some white card stock.  There's also a section of white card stock cut with a Matha Stewart punch.

The lace and lave flowers are from The Ribbon Girl and the silver LOVE charm used here as a sentiment is from Live and Love Crafts.

There are two different types of white flowers from Hobby Craft sprinkled down the left side and to finish off some pearl gems
