Icon Heroes - Karate Kid Johnny Lawrence - Exclusive Dojo Version

Love these Karate Kid figures. The newest is a convention exclusive with Johnny Lawrence in white uniform, seen in the Dojo scene. Also has extra heads and is holding the referee flags in his hands.

Icon Heroes - Karate Kid - Daniel LaRusso and the Cobra Kai 4-Pack

As I mentioned a few days ago, I came across the Johnny Lawrence figure much by accident by walking into a shopping mall....haven't been in one in ages. I checked out Ebay and Amazon and found the cheapest price. As I searched for them, I came across an unexpected surprise - the Cobra Kai All Valley Tournament 4 Pack which includes Kreese, Tommy, Bobby and Dutch. My first thought? "Give him a body bag! Yeah."

Interestingly enough, most of the Cobra Kai dudes were sons of famous actors. In case you haven't read this article from Sports Illustrated, it's a behind the scenes look at how the movie came together.

My only complaint is the way their pants and feet are molded, I had a hard time getting them to stand up.

Anyway, here is Daniel and the All Valley tournament set.

Icon Heroes - Karate Kid - Johnny Lawrence

A few weeks ago, I walked into a mall - haven't been to one in almost two years. I saw a 6 inch Johnny Lawrence figure hanging on a peg at a bookstore. It was made by Icon Heroes. I have never heard of them, and didn't know about these scaled Karate Kid figures. 

I passed on the purchase but then scoured Amazon and Ebay. Turns out they have several Karate Kid figures. More on that in a future post. 

So this is Johnny. Awesome sculpt and will fit in well with my 80s collection. He comes with three additional heads and additional hand sculpts.
