Vintage Kenner Star Wars Puzzle - Jawas

My motto is, you can never have too many Jawas. I managed to get a lot of three Kenner Star Wars puzzles - only 140 pieces each. Here is the first one - Jawas carrying the captured R2D2.

Jawas at 1/6 Scale - Tatooine Scavengers Two Packs

These are probably my favorite sculpts of Jawas ever. Not sure why they appeal to me so much. I purchased three sets when they first came out. Started getting some more - I found all of these for less than what they were originally at retail - under $25. Interesting that the Gentle Giant Jumbo Power Droid and Animated R2 is so much bigger in scale.

I Love Jawas - Love Jawa Two Packs Twice As Much

For those who've been following me for awhile, you know I love Jawas. Something about this 1/6 scale two pack set really resonates with me. I think the sculpts are perfect. I bought a few sets when they came out in 2003. Now, in 2025, you can buy them for the same price or less. I may have to build an army.

More Custom Jawa Vehicles

After finishing the Warthog vehicle, I found more random vehicles to paint for a larger Jawa set up. I did run out of brown paint so I ordered some more.

New Jawa Vehicle - Courtesy of GI Joe

I saw someone else do this on Instagram. Forgot who. Sorry. Anyway, I converted an old GI Joe Warthog into a new Jawa vehicle. Just took a bit of brown paint and oila!

Super 7's "The Worst" Jawa

A few years back, Super7 released a "Star Wars" inspired line of Worst figures at San Diego Comic Con. The set of six is very expensive, but I managed to get this broken one for $7. Nothing a little crazy glue won't fix.

Star Wars Galactic Pals

I have no idea what these are supposed to be. I did not purchase one, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Jawa and Greedo made it into my home some day.

Leftcoast Graphics Jawa and Sandcrawler Pins

Once again, Leftcoast Graphics has released some fun Star Wars pins along with creative toy box packaging for the vehicle. In this case, we have the Jawa and Sandcrawler from Kenner's Star Wars line from the 70s.

Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary Star Wars Black Series Kenner Jawa

And the reason why I was looking for Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary Greedo was because the Jawa was the only figure I managed to preorder before the others were sold out. And the Jawa showed up well before expected. Not much different than the predecessor other than the hard plastic colored to match the original Kenner figure and a soft cape.

Star Wars Tatooine Diorama - Purchase of the Droids

Been wanting to do this one for awhile. Finally cleared off my sand table in the garage to quickly set this up. Can't find my moisture vaporators. Maybe next time.

A billion 3PO figures and I could only find my red armed one from Force Awakens...which he still doesn't explain.

Adventure People Jeep - Refitted for Tatooine

I saw someone do this on the Jawa Collectors facebook page and decided to do the same. I acquired an Adventure People wilderness jeep and simply repainted it to Sandcrawler brown. Good times.

Next project - repainting the Jungle-cutter tank from Indiana Jones - Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
