GI Joe Classic Collection Medal of Honor - Francis J. Pierce

I posted about Pierce before, but I didn't have a boxed version of my own anymore. Thanks to Matt from Toybox who snagged this for me at an estate sale, I now have the Medal of Honor series complete.

One Sixth Memories - Medal of Honor Francis Currey

This was the first Medal of Honor figure from Hasbro's GI Joe Classic Collection. I tried to force the perspective with the 1:18 scale Panther tank.

GI Joe - Medal of Honor Series - John Fox

On this day in history (December 26, 1944), John Fox's actions in combat posthomously earned him the Medal of Honor, which wasn't awarded until 1997. 

By this point, Hasbro got away from the five-panel boxes that showed off the incredible artwork. Still, the back panel shows enough of the awesome artwork from the artists employed by Hasbro.

GI Joe - Medal of Honor Series - Francis Currey

 On this day in history, December 21, 1944, Francis Currey actions on the battlefield earned him the Medal of Honor. This was the first Medal of Honor figure Hasbro released.

GI Joe - Medal of Honor Series - Roy Benavidez

 On this day in history (May 2, 1968), Roy Benavidez' actions in combat earned him the Medal of Honor.

Once again, Hasbro produced a number of Medal of Honor soldiers with incredible artwork on a five panel box.

GI Joe - Medal of Honor Series - Jimmy Doolittle

 On this day in history (April 18, 1942), Colonel James Doolittle led the Doolittle Raid over Tokyo, the US first counterattack on the Japanese mainland after Pearl Harbor.

Once again, Hasbro produced these figures with awesome 5-panel boxes to show off the incredible artwork from very talented artists.

On this day in history (26 January 1945) , Audie Murphy's actions in combat earned him the Medal of Honor.  Hasbro produced several Medal of Honor figures in the lates 90s/early 2000s. At the time, the figures also came in these awesome 5 panel boxes that showed off the brilliant artwork in all its glory.
