This is another thing I discovered on Instagram by other collectors. This one actually comes with a Colonel Sanders figure. Too funny. I got this cheap one cause it had the Colonel but none of the other figures. Oh well.  How funny is this?

Playskool Familiar Places Holiday Inn

So, I got the McDonald's playset (again) because I came across this awesome Holiday Inn motel playset. I don't know why I dig this so much but it is so cool.

I remember a friend had one of these as a kid and I wanted one as well. Never got one. Did purchase one on Ebay about ten years back, and quickly turned around and sold it. Anyway, there is a method to my madness here. Playskool used square shaped people instead of the round Fisher Price style people. Anway - kind of cool to have a playset like this back in the day. Capitalism at it's finest. What would they do today? Probably a Starbucks and Panera? I do wish it came with some McDonaldland characters like Ronald and Grimace.
