I Found Jesus - McFarlane Walking Dead

I can't say I actually found Jesus. I had to buy this set off Ebay.  Never saw it at retail. I believe it only was sold at Gamestop.  This 3 pack includes the only TV version of Jesus and repaints of Rick Grimes and Daryl.

Good thing I open them because my wife ran over the box by accident with her car.

Still bummed McFarlane basically ended this line. So many cool characters.

McFarlane Walking Dead - Negan

We've already seen McFarlane's 5 inch version of Jeffrey Dean Morgan's "Negan" character from AMC's The Walking Dead. He came in a boxed two pack with Glenn.  Walgreens continues to keep the Walking Dead line alive (ironic) by offering a single carded Negan figure. Managed to find one of these guys finally. Looking forward to the Season 9 Premiere tomorrow night.

McFarlane Walking Dead - The Boundary - Comic Series 5

SPOILER ALERT - if you haven't been reading the Walking Dead comics and are still catching up, don't look further.  This scene occurred about two years ago so you should be caught up by now we hope.

Anyway, some of our favorite characters met an untimely demise and the enemy created a line in the sand so to speak.  Don't cross or suffer the same fate.

Along with Lydia comes unpackaged photos of Shane, Glenn and Negan. All are in the Comic Series 5 set.

McFarlane Skybound Exclusive Walking Dead Old Man Rick Grimes

This Skybound Exclusive Walking Dead Rick Grimes figure recreates his look after All Out War. The All Out War against Negan and the Saviors story arc completes and the comic does a two year time jump where the survivor civilization is growing.  Rick sports a beard, a cane, and his prosthetic hand.

This is a cool figure and nice to see Skybound and Walgreens still keeping the McFarlane Walking Dead line alive.  Skybound offered a colored and a black and white/bloody variant.

McFarlane Walking Dead Walgreen's Exclusive Sasha, Aaron, and Constable Rick Grimes

McFarlane Toys has basically stopped their Walking Dead 5 inch series. Luckily for us fans, Walgreen's has commissioned several highly desired figures over the last year. Sometimes hard to find and released one at a time, I still give Walgreen's a great deal of credit and praise for keeping the line going. The only other 5 inch figures announced are a Negan-Glenn two pack, and a Walgreen's single Negan figure. Even Skybound hasn't done any exclusives for awhile.

Sasha is the newest figure. Aaron and Constable Rick were released several months ago.

McFarlane Walking Dead Comic Series 5

Even though the TV series figures seem to have been cancelled, McFarlane finally released this great set of Walking Dead comic figures, to include some new characters, and going back to the early days for some early figures.

A cool part of this line up is the added "head" each figure comes with. The decapitated heads come from the border that Alpha marked with heads of the Alexandria community. You'll see Rosita and Ezekial in that macabre line up.

We finally have a great comic Shane. This figure should also be made for the TV series. Unlikely, but the TV Series 2 Shane was horrible.

We finally have a good Glenn from the comics, and not the Riot Gear figure from Series 2, which was pretty cool, but we need a regular Glenn, and now we have one. He also comes with his "battered" head from the group's first face to face meeting with Negan.

Speaking of Negan, this is post All Out War prison Negan. An interesting story arc for him, especially as he mentors Carl.

Finally, we have Lydia, daughter of Alpha, who came as a comic-con exclusive last year.  Lydia befriends Carl, and I think they have a great storyline that will continue for awhile.
