Deliveroo TV Advert (2019)

I've had these images saved from when this advert first aired but was interested to just read that it ended up getting banned for false advertising in the UK.  i.e.; Deliveroo cant really get a food order to your orbiting space station!  I have mixed feelings about this because on the one hand its sort of important not to lie in adverts and make false promises but equally what happened to a sense of humour!

Lego - Build the Future advert (2017)

Lego's Build the Future print campaign, as designed by Ogilvy Thailand, is very cool, visually striking and probably inspirational to boot.  As such, I'll show you the two none Spaceman images as well because I'm kind like that.

NY Comic Art Convention Advert - Jack Kirby (1976)

Art from Marvel's 2001 A Space Odyssey comic adaption which has been appropriated for a New York Comic Con advert but I'm not sure of the year  I've seen it dated as 1971 which is rubbish because we didn't know about Star Wars back then.  Logic says 1977.  Does any one know better?

based on info in the comments' section then I'll edit to 1976. Thank you

Advertising Space - Gallery 1

Do you see what I did there?

OK, time to clear the files a bit.  I've been holding onto these images for years waiting to date them but lets throw it out to you people out there.  If you know, or know how I can find out what year these images are from then feel free to pop a comment in below and I'll update accordingly.

 (1965)

 (1970)

 Smirnoff  Vodka (1967)
Its been suggested that this is the same space helmet as one featured in You Only Live Twice and on study I would have to agree.  Its also the same year as that James Bond film and given the smart dressed chap and the girl I'm now wonder if this whole advert is trying to capture the Bond thing, officially or not.  Thanks "Unknown" for spotting that

Audi R8 Big Game Commercial – Commander (2016)

Surrounded by memories of the Space Age’s golden years, a retired astronaut has lost his zeal for life. But when his son shows up and hands over the keys to the new 205-mph Audi R8 V10 plus, a rocket ride under the stars stirs new found life within the Commander

This is quite an emotional advert to watch and even more so because it uses Bowie's Star Man as the music and I'm still not over his transcendence yet.

You can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yB8tgVqmKzw

Enjoy

The Drop - Perrier advert (2012)

The Drop is the name of the short film / advert produced for the Perrier beverage company by Ogilvy & Mather in Paris.  It's directed by Swedish music-video director Johan Renck, and tells the tale of a beautiful woman charged with ending an oppressive heat wave enveloping Earth.
And is very fine looking piece of film in just about every way.

Space 1999 Iced Lolly TV Advert - (1976)

Lets start 2016 with something impressively obscure

Which is from the TV advert for the Lyons Maid Space 1999 iced lolly.  Art by Frank Bellamy, apparently.  Go here;

for this and much more.  I'm not sure I ever had one of these but I do remember the Dalek Lollies featured further down the page.

Happy New Year to you

Cash For Life - Illinois Lettery - Advert (2011)

Not really a spacesuit but....
Not done one of these for a while but it's a good design and wouldn't look out of place recycled as a spacesuit in some TV show.

Thanks Bill,
