Like, even back when we first stopped at Pezun, Four didn't pull the weight we thought she would and we wound up saddled with Drake who did nothing for but blow up Pezun and lose us the Bardams. I think in general we have to super remind ourselves that there's no easy out for most decisions but there are definitely landmines. Those being trusting Jerid 100% or abandoning the front entirely to confront him. The former is head in sand 'everything is fine in Olympus' and the latter will throw our meager gains right into the trash.Personally speaking, I wonder if Copy wrote himself into a corner somewhere because Kamille and Jerid working together has proven to be unstoppable on top of being able to play against difficult odds with relative ease. Kamille and co just chewed through a massive Titan force after all and while Axis has loads of money and resources, swathes of their forces still use old tech.

Big money THEN came on the scene and they're the ones who ballooned budgets to the ridiculous heights they're at now. It was not necessary in the least bit and has arguably done more harm to the medium than Hollywood did to film. At least Hollywood used to occasionally allow an auteur to work unmolested, but video games became Hollywood in the worst possible time.

Even with X's episode cut, it still cuts stuff, like from the Fort Severn it skips to the Lucille episode and then to the Double X arc, and then the Estardo arc is completely skipped and it goes right to the end-game when Tiffa is taken to space.There are some extra parts here and there though, like Carris returns with a new suit, the Rasveht Beta, rather than the Bertigo (pretty much the Rasveht in Bertigo colors, this artist also was involved with the Next Prologue manga, which is probably why the Gundam Nouvelle exists, since it's a similar idea). And the ending shows the cast rescuing Garrod from the ruined Double X. But then another one of the changes is that near the ending you get the Frosts standing , secretly observing Garrod and Tiffa (no wheelchair Shagia) as they leave, mentioning they're fated rivals. The biggest addition are two flashback chapters focused on Jamil during the 7th Space War, but they don't really line up with the main story well, since they make Jamil directly involved with taking down operation Lilac originally. And you'd think that would come up during the Fort Severn arc. These flashback chapters also reveal that the original X that we know is actually an -upgrade-. It originally debuted with just a booster pack, and only later it gets the Satellite Cannon pack. I actually kind of like this idea? But nothing else ever acknowledges this version of the X.
